The Philster Enigma- for those who hate gun belts

In this video I will be reviewing the Philster Enigma and discussing its positives, negatives, and who I think would benefit from this holster set up.

Once I found the length of the belt that worked for me, I left about 3" extra, cut it, and singed with a lighter like you would do to paracord. With that length, I can simply slide it along the main belt, and it doesn't bother me. I don't use the leg leash. With the shape of my legs I couldn't get it set up right. The retention on the phlster skeleton holster that it came with is not tight enough to cause any problems with drawing.

@billdrill22 just make sure you leave enough to get ahold of it to tighten, or loosen throughout the day. Some people like to put it on loose, then sinch it up tight. Phlster supplies the belts to basically try to be long enough for everybody, then you can cut to length. Mine hasn't frayed out on the end, but I don't use it that much.

Will do. I appreciate the help. I’ll be switching to the sport belt soon but imagine I’ll need to cut some length off that one too

That seems way more cumbersome than a holster should be.

That’s the thing, it’s not cumbersome at all, after you set it up. It’s as simplistic as it gets. Strap it on and you’re done.

Its not cumbersome at all been using the enigma for 3 years been great

It looks like a lot, but it's really not. It is not for everybody, and phlster has some good videos on why you may not want it. I don't use it much as most days I wear blue collar work clothes. I can wear a dedicated gun belt. With slacks or shorts it works well for me.
