I run a G19 Gen 5 in my Phlster Enigma with a Tenicor holster. This lets me go from my 19 to my 19X. Come summer months I swap those out for my 43X MOS and 48 MOS also with Tenicore with the Enigma.

I love tenicor holsters and that’s the nice thing about Glocks, you can typically run all the double stack models in the same holsters.

I Cant fathom torturing myself carrying a giant gun with a giant light every day. Never. 365xl is as big as I’ll ever consider. Each to his own.
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
I carried a 365x and I hated shooting it. I found myself shooting a 17. I’m taller and have an athletic build so I don’t print much, but if I weren’t allowed to carry at my work I’d probably carry a 19 in an enigma.

@@billdrill22 I should give more detail. I bought a comp’d X Macro and put everything on a Wilson combat XL frame to make it easier to conceal. It’s a great set up and I love shooting it but I do wear a medium large glove size.
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
Sounds like a badass set up. If you enjoy shooting it and it’s reliable I can 100% see why you like it.

I currently have a Phlster floodlight 2 I switch between my 19x and 47 I love it no printing and in can carry in shorts and a tee. Great video btw definitely waiting to hear how yours works for you.

Thank you. Yeah, it’s definitely awesome for anyone who doesn’t wear a belt or for those people who have to really conceal the firearm. I’m really enjoying it.

Full size for the win, Glock 17 for me. I carry it pretty much year round. Like you the 19 is my compact. The right holster and wedge makes a difference. I’m going to pickup a pillow wedge to see how those work.
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
Get a few extra velcro stickers too, that way if you like it, and you will, you can use one pillow wedge and put on multiple different holsters.

Cool rotation setup, my main carry is Beretta 92x RDO Compact, summer/backup is Sig P938 Legion. That's all the rotation I need.. Currently!

That’s a stellar setup. My buddy just bought the 92, I believe lx, and he absolutely loves it. Very popular gun I’ve noticed.

They should have an express/sport belt bundle. Been running the OS enigma for years, the sport belt is worth the purchase.
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
I completely agree, and I did buy the sport belt. I just wanted to try without for a few weeks before I put the sport belt on so I can see if I really prefer the sport belt or not.

I’m sorta new to shooting and im looking to purchase my first compact/full size firearm, is there any you would recommend? I currently own a 43x mos but it’s small for my liking good for concealing but I want something bigger. Anyway I’m new to your channel and that collection of yours is sweet, something I hope to have in the next few years

If you like Glocks check out the gen 5 Glock 19, Glock 17 and Glock 34. They are all fantastic and if you want to change something the aftermarket for Glock is vast. I’d also check out M&P’s, and cz’s. There are so many handguns it’s hard to include them all but the key is to try to feel them out and shoot as many as possible. My recommendation is always to go as big as you feel comfortable with. Bigger is always better and if you can ccw it and shoot it well, that’s the gun you want to carry.

Myself being a bigger guy I love the 19x with a tlr-1 jx tactical fat guy holster
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
I also love the 19x, well, 45. I don’t think people understand how uncomfortable it is to shoot lots of rounds through a gun that is too small for your hands. It’s just unpleasant.

Silly question. Is the pillow wedge made of a cotton material? And if so, does it smell overtime the more you wear it? Appreciate the content!
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
It feels more like rucksack material, but I’m sure it is made of cotton, or maybe a 60/40 blend. The fill inside is a synthetic material. I’ve not noticed it smelling at all and I’ve been wearing mine daily for 6 months or so. No noticeable smell at all

These guns are all the same size. Just pick one and roll with it. Then buy two more that are exactly the same. Consistency is key.

If only I could. But I understand your point and I don’t disagree. That’s the same advice I give others.

I’m using the DPM recoil reduction guide rod, but I might have to try that. Jedi sells one on his website too. I’d carry it more if it weren’t for the recoil. I shoot it great…when I’m not flinching.

I’m a G43X MOS guy or my VP9sk SCS
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
I hear ya. The 43x is such a popular gun, but I prefer shooting bigger guns so I just choose to go full size. Nothing wrong with carrying a small gun, as long as you are carrying.
