This is among the best introductory explanation of Maxwell’s equations I’ve ever come across, on a par with that by Richard Feynman! It’s really brilliant. Congratulations! You must be a fantastic teacher. I hope your students know how lucky they are! Best wishes from Australia.

in case of divergence of magnetic field - little correction: magnetic field lines did not start nor end in magnet, they go through - they are loops (continuous closed). Law says that there's no 'point' source of magnetic field.
@TheSecretsoftheUniverse5 жыл бұрын
Yes but if we visualize the whole loop, then they appear to start from North and end at South outside the magnet.
@kai_enforcer5 жыл бұрын
@@TheSecretsoftheUniverse But that's a problem I'm telling you about. You're treating two poles of magnet as separate, but there's no such thing as magnetic monopoles, therefore you can't treat them like that, also if you 'theoretically' separate two poles of magnet to distance then matematical dipole moment would look different than in ordinary matter. There's no such thing as "divergence in north or south pole of magnet", because if it would, then i can draw a different sphere and then divergence wouldn't be zero.

A photon can be seen as the spherical implosion shockwave caused by the collapse of an electron orbital. Electron shell shrinks, space rushes in creating a spherical implosion ripple which propagates from origin at c. This is the entire probability sphere of QM model as a physical event. The wavelength is the thickness of the expanding membrane. And consider that the outside of a sphere is always divergent relative to the interior side.
@KaliFissure2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely!!! A little known attribute of dielectric fluids, which Maxwell thought space to be, is that they develop charge separations as they flow. A divergence in flow creates negative charge and convergent flows create positive charge. This is a physical phenomena which oil industry has to account for. Space is a dielectric fluid. A perfect insulator which means that charges are held extremely locally. All of QM, integrating gravity, can be modeled using hydrodynamics of a perfect dielectric fluid of variable density. Variable density? Yes. The density of space can be measured by the local energy density. We know from the mass energy conversion equation that although energy usually does not impinge on spacetime to the same degree as mass, this is because mass is in fact energy in orbit around itself and thus extremely concentrated.

Very good young teacher. As everyone including me is in the process of learning so would like to suggest a key correction here that unlike electric dipole there is no such thing as sink or source for magnetic dipole say bar magnet. If you draw the magntc field lines also inside the bar magnet, they will just make loops. These curl.

There is a problem with the equation for the divergence of vector G. In fact, the divergence of a vector is a scalar quantity. However, on the blackboard, the divergence of G appears as a vector, improperly including the unit vectors i, j and k.

I think it would be cool if you made a video about the original 20 Maxwell equations.
@Bledi8384 жыл бұрын
This is not important because Seagan said so...... But Maxwell was a Genious who grasped by intuittion how electricity is generated by the Magnetic Field and put this into mathematical equations..... so the world can use it....even Faraday who showed him by experimentaion didn’t understand how it did happen. As said so by Maxwell himself in his super work: The dynamical theory of Electromagnetism. He said to understand how the magnetic field worked he needed a leap of faith in the fact that “the field always seeks a balance with the surrounding environment”. And his drawing of the sperical harmonics of the Earth is another genious work.

Also, why we have to use the termC squared,where c is the velocity of electromagnetic waves , to balance the fourth equation is not clear to me. The first 3 equations are straightforward because they are taking about fields. What is the reasoning behind using the wave velocity in the fourth? We were talking about fields in the first 3 equations, suddenly, in the fourth, we are dealing with wave velocity. How come?

You have explained divergence and curl clearly. But why the curl of the electric field should be considered in Faradays law can be further clarified. We consider the curl of the electric field because this is responsible for pushing the electrons in a circular path through the coils of the conductor. Am I correct?
