The C.R.K.T. #PilarIII is a 3" Stonewashed Frame Locking Folder offered in a Black G-10 showside and a stonewashed stainless steel 🔒side. This being the D2 variant (5317D2) it also has a genuine #brass backspacer that is also stonewashed. All new Spear Point blade shape by #JesperVoxnaes & as well as the new fold over deep carry clip!! Fantastic review. I just ordered the D2 before they completely disappear. The blade shape is more useful and IKBS is a necessary prerequisite for any CRKT.

I had issues with mine right out of the box. Super tough to "flick" open. The frame lock was "rubbing" the blade when closed, holding it up. Also the "lock stop" tab was threaded crooked and would not sit flush to the frame. I contacted CKRT and they sent me a new one at no charge. I installed it but still had opening issues. Sent it back to them. They solved the issue somehow, and not it's a great carry for me. Thanks to CKRT customer service.

The 3 is def level above the others... The first Large had that double clutch issue which is a bummer for most people, this has resolved all those little issues and even made the blade more of a looker (IMO) & at least there give the steel option right out of the gate this go round!

Just stumbled onto this channel. Your attention to detail and excellent editing skills is well above most knife reviewers. Outstanding review. I actually purchased the Pilar 3 before watching. Initially I was on the fence but it quickly became one of my favorite EDC’s. Agree with others in the belief you mod def should have more subs. Keep up the great work.

I've never had a pilar. I believe however this newest model is probably the one I will be getting. I prefer it's looks to the previous models and I like all the upgrades. Great review 👍

I think the 3 is the best version. They took all the community feed back and the other 2 pilars and make the best pilar they could with the 3. I do admit I like the og blade shape alot. I just don't like how small it is. I like knives around the 3in plus size. So I have a d2 pilar 3 on the way to me as I type this. Hope its as great as u said

Agree with you on the whole comment, and I'm sure you will def be surprised and satisfied with the III's arrival.. The lock bar release is a bit sharp but it can be knocked down with some sand paper or is minutes quite a Dremel... Other then that little fixable issue, the build can't be beat

Great review with very nice pics! I love the original Pilar (and own it in various versions), but skipped the large one. My P3 will arrive next week, opted for the cr Version, because of the satin finish and not the steel. Hope there will follow more variants (perhaps a non-locking #heinniehaynes Version for Europe 🙃) ... Thx and good luck with your channel 🙂👍

I got a pilar 2 large 5315 at Lowe's for $22 with 8cr14mov and bearings I have yet to see them in this configuration anywhere else
