The Pit Crew - ‘On the Road’ presented by Valvoline, Ep. 10

It comes down to the tenth of a second. From leaving pit road ahead or behind, a lot is weighing on their shoulders. Five men, five jobs, one goal; put their driver up front.
The pit crew consists of a front and rear tire changer, tire carrier, jackman and fueler. These five roles are a key part of NASCAR racing. We wrap up “On the Road’ presented by Valvoline by diving deeper into the heart and soul of what it means to pit a NASCAR Cup Series car. There is more to it than just changing tires. I was at Kansas behind the pit box for that stop. I was blown away with how many spots he gained. The boys killed it that day!

Such a great organization. When I first started watching NASCAR I had no idea who to pick. I knew two drivers names, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. saw there was a Home Depot car and a Lowes car. I dislike Home Depot so picked Lowes for that simple reason. So glad that worked out the way it did!
