After this episode I've become 100% aware that RuPaul is playing favorites this season that I was so over it tbh, Shea' completely missed the mark with her "rainbow" look meanwhile all of Sasha's looks were flawless and let us not talk about that whacky excuse RuPaul used to not let Sasha win saying "it's too much fashion it's not drag" the beauty of drag is actually the fact that you can do ANYTHING. Saying that something isn't 'drag' enough is such an ignorant thing to do, becuase not every Drag Queen wants to look like Trixie or Bianca(this 'typical', rough around the edges drag). Some queens just want to be fashionable, some want to be androgynous or some want to be clownish. But critiquing someone just because it doesn't fit in your scale of what's drag and what's not is just ignorant.

She didn't win because Rupaul and the judges didn't think she made 'BALL' EXTRAVAGANZA LOOKS, nobody in the show said that Sasha it's not drag enough, but for the category yes it was more high fashion not really over the top looks. You guys really need to watch Paris is Burning before drag race

the thing is : her looks WERE actually over the top but when you're a pretty boy with a pretty mug on RPDR nobody thinks you're drag enough. They gave similar comments to Courtney Act back in the days when she pulled some of the most iconic, draggiest looks in her season. that cowboy look was Jessie from Toy Story meets Buffalo Bill : nothing high fashion about it, everything drag about it. Having a little house glued to your scalp is both literally and figuratively over the top so I don't know what more you want. Dressing yourself as a jousting unicorn draped in fucking tapestries maybe ? I'm not saying Shea didn't deserve that win (she did 100%), but don't try to school people on drag when the only thing you take away from those looks is what the judges said.

I think they meant more along the lines of Alyssa, Laganja, Kennedy, etc who are pro trained dancers who do splits, death drops, high kicks and have dancer instincts (if you pay attention to Alyssa's lip syncs, she is aware of having a "good line", pointing toes, etc)

I skimmed through the comments because we do that. We're not supposed to keep our sanity but... My look is NOT lazy. My look is ME. No, it didn't take me 5 minutes to put it together. I'm from Season 1 where I was BARELY a queen. I continue to grow and learn year after year. I'm proud of where I am in my drag but I will continue to grow and learn - if you think I'm NOT the best drag queen, I never said I was. Peppermint is NOT the first TRANS contestant on RPDR. I know this. She was the one who was open about it from the get go vs. coming out. I respect all of them for being open. I don't wear wigs because I don't need to. I will, but not my favorite. I love creating headpieces and use my baldness as an open, clean canvas. If you think I'm boring - that's your opinion. I'll try not to be for your pleasure
