Calvin hasnt really done much. Last year was just ok. I personally wouldnt be surprised if by the time season starts Calvin is Wr4 or 5. Might even lose his special team reps to quez.

This is in response to your claim he'll be a starter on day 1. This is false, most new guys (unless they're "allstar" 1st rounders like Caleb Williams) make a splash on special teams before anywhere else. I've been through 20 years of Steeler training camps, I know how this stuff works. Calvin is entering the OTAs in pole position ahead of Roman. I'm not commenting on what happens afterwards, though it would be prudent for you to keep in mind however "unproven" Calvin is right now, Roman is even MORE unproven. He's starting at ground zero, whereas Calvin has already proven to be a viable deep threat for the offense. I wouldn't be shocked to see Calvin as #2 even at the start of the regular season. His explosiveness and pure speed gives him the ability to attack defenses vertically over the top, and Roman's skillset it better suited in the slot.

First and foremost, Omar Khan absolutely crushed the first three rounds of the draft. Beginning with the 2023 offseason the objective was to get back to being a very physical team. That objective carried over to the 2024 draft and the results couldn’t realistically have been better. What AR2, Omar, Andy and coach Tomlin managed to accomplish via free agency and the first three rounds of the 2024 draft is a dream scenario. Omar stayed patient and disciplined and got the best bang for his bucks at the #20 draft position. What’s even more remarkable was seeing that Omar didn’t have to give up draft capital to get the players he coveted. Omar got tremendous value for his bucks. The picks of OT, Troy Fautanu and C, Zack Frazier completed the rebuild of the OL. Given that everything on offense begins and ends with the OL has the makings of being a top five one. There are three attributes that defines the Steelers’ OL players and they are their elite talent, intelligence and their nasty demeanors. Steelers’ physical brand of football is back.

Finally fixed their Punter problem getting a proven great punter in Cameron Johnston and of course BOZ is always among the best kickers.
