I found interesting how the chorus is God itself talking, having both male and female voices. That could be the angels singing with God, but also could be just how God's voice is for the humans. This movie is great.

I absolutely love that when Moses is singing the music is very gentle and almost optimistic and heroic but the moment Rameses begins singing the music gets deeper and more intense. This song is absolutely amazing in every way and I think extremely underappreciated along with this entire movie. One of the best animated movies ever made and is absolutely deserving of being up there with The Iron Giant and Wall-E amongst many others

But I guess it would also be a reference of this scene 2:24, and the fact we could wonder: who is Seth (the one bringing chaos and destruction upon Egypt) and who’s Horus (the personification of order and ruler of Egypt) between Rameses and Moses? Anubis was the god of funeral rituals and psychopomp, which means his role was to guide dead souls to Osiris’ realm, such as the first born kids later in the movie

I think they combined all of the voices of the choir as God's voice because when God spoke to Moses at the burning bush, His voice was a mixture of different pitches, but had an overly dominating male voice(obviously), perhaps to add a twinge of supernaturalism that God is a spirit. They mixed male and female voices to make God's voice maybe to symbolize that were are all one in God's creation, and through His voice, made us all, one essence.
