The Plan to Fix the TCM

My '95' Metro starts off in 2nd gear and then will shift to third normally. Do you still think its a bad TCM? I was thinking it's the speed sensor on top of the transmission.

They still use this on newer cars.

Jeez just take some fine sand paper and clean the tip . Or heat it up and wipe it .... no need to replace .
