Looking good Brandon! Glad you got a temporary lid on your earthship home. That will reduce your struggle with mud from monsoon rains. Excited to see your water catchment fill up. We have used those billboard tarps. Some have tiny pin holes in them that aren't visible by holding them up to the light. Ruined the mini camper Kristofer built and lived in for a year. 😢 We wrapped it with a billboard to store it, but it leaked. Love y'all 💚✌️

Yea I've noticed the pin holes and other holes in it as well! We've got another better vinyl tarps think we'll use on the final roof. Otherwise we'll be getting EPDM rubber. Always glad to hear from you!✌🏾

You guys made good progress. Sorry to hear about your injury. I had my share of injuries, I managed to drill into the tip of my finger and fingernail early this year. Luckily it is already healed, but I wasn't using clamps while drilling. That was a quick and painful reminder to always use clamps. Just remind yourself that you are not doing a sprint race, you are doing a marathon, so do not be too harsh on yourself for injuring yourself. Just be glad that it wasn't any worse. I think that the hole in the ground is going to be a seasonal vernal pond for the amphibians. I would like it to be hahaha As always a huge 👍 And give your hand some rest, it is better to be safe as to be sorry. All your old injuries from the past will bite you when you get older and when you didn't let your injuries heal well.

I know it might not seem like it, but you're lucky with your injury. I had a stroke in 2019, and have an intention tremor in my right arm (more I concentrate on more it shakes). I'm in the process of l4arn to use my left as my dominate hand. It took 7 mths to get back to my homestead after my stroke.

Please invest in a folding workbench! You'll be much safer with razor sharp tools if you're not having to hold the work piece by hand. Even a basic sawhorse lashed together would be a huge improvement. You only have ten fingers, dude! Fantastic project, really enjoying it. I'm planning something similar, except I have too much water, not too little.

Ha ha, we had gloves, but slowly ripped apart after a lot of rock moving, but you're right I need a pair for chiseling! Thank you too it's really starting to take shape!✌🏾

Not that I'm aware of The structure is also under 400 sqft under roof, which we're allowed to have/ build something 400 or under for our zoning. This essentially is a greenhouse for propagating plants and trees. ✌🏾
