Imagine planets where the rain is made of glass, falling sideways at super fast speeds, or worlds covered in constant darkness, where the light from their star never reaches the ground. These aren't the peaceful, blue spheres with white clouds or the red neighbors that have caught our attention for so long. Join us on this journey as we explore the most terrifying and scary planets that exist in our universe.

Aliens - "Why did you name our planet WASP 12b?" Scientist - "I got stung by 12 wasps while leaving for work the day I discovered it." Aliens - "But what's with the b?" Scientist - "I got stung again by a bee later that day after work." Aliens - "Oh. I c." Scientist - "I hate your planet."

Roman soldiers seen a second moon in the sky during a battle. A rouge planet passing through our solar system. It’s written down. Cool right but terrifying.

It’s insane to think these places really exist. Earthquakes, planetary collisions, supernovas, black holes swallowing stars. Events vastly more amazing than anything that humanity has ever witnessed, passing by never to be seen. I wonder what the sky looks like on a planet near the galactic center. 1000 x more stars in the sky…

@@sinisterknight9696 it's not something proven but sparks' is 'right'. the closeness of the stars, their type and lifespans all work against the likelihood of rocky planets forming. also there's thought to be a galactic habitable zone but it's not something we know 100%. there's got to be a few, surely?

@@billynomates920 From what I’ve read there should be plenty of rocky planets, but I guess it’s theorized that it’s less likely for life to evolve there due to higher amounts of radiation, and gravitational disturbances? Idk. Maybe he’s right and it might be true. It just seemed like an odd comment. I still wonder what the sky would look like lol.

What is holding us back from visiting these planets, well it's very simple really, it's certain governments and oil rich companies. We do have the technology hidden somewhere in area 51. Perhaps when all the oil runs out then we can start thinking about travelling to distant planets.
