The Planetside 2 Dev Team finally addresses the Oshur Issue

I'm not sure how, but they managed to mess a lot up with this update. Vehicles now appear invisible at random, including bastions. Entering an invisible vehicle will put you in the vehicle on everyone else's client, but you will remain outside of the vehicle on your own client, if you swap to the driver seat, your character will be able to run around at whatever that vehicles top speed is, however you will be invisible to everyone, unable to shoot them or anything, but there are a few ways you can cause chaos with this that I am not going to disclose. If you pull from a warpgate, or spawn from a beacon, tank main/top turrets will lose mouse acceleration when you enter the vehicle, will be able to turn instantly, and will be able to look directly up or down, if you pull a galaxy, all 4 gunners will be able to look and shoot at any position around the galaxy. All vehicle guns will appear locked in position if you're not the one in them, however sometimes they will work properly at random. Base turrets also have the potential to completely spazz out and be completely unusable, which I am fine with. And probably a number of more issues that I am forgetting

RPG could also just make oshur only unlockable as a secondary continent. That way you'd at least get to decide what to play during primetime (assuming the game gets enough players to fill up more than one continent)

Bro the Oshur move is great! I still want to play Oshur from time to time but how much of an hater are you if you can't even play 30 min on it. 😂 I mean I get why people might not like playing on it often and for long hours, but playing shorts Alert on Oshur would be quite enjoyable. Yesterday we had a great game Alert on Oshur on Emerald.

I don't know, I kinda like Oshur, underwater combat, I like it's slower pace etc

The miller servers die when Oshur comes around. It literally kills the game.

@peta8219 I like the underwater combat too! Its very unique and also there is less spam, you die less since there is no explosions except c4 haha. I just feel like they should add more rocks and vegetation underwater
