That Black Stem! I‘ve been wanting one for so long as well, then they popped up at my local plant nursery just a few weeks ago. Really mature and big ones, I easily saw them from a distance. I was like „hell yeah my alo-babys, today‘s the day, let‘s roll, I‘m all in“. Making my way straight to those beauties, ignoring all the other plants. Just to find they‘ve been pestridden like the borg mothership. 😢 So I‘ll wait… Again… 😅

I got my pep sarcophylla last year, easy care, bottom water I’ve found is best. I am still obsessed- gorgeous plant!!

Glad you got the Peperomia Sarcophylla i send you a picture of it in DM when i bought mine. It is a gorgeous plant i fell in love with it after seeing it in Jungle Haven. Mine isn’t doing so great no new leaves just keeps giving me blooms which i snip off. Also they like there soil moist.

just a tip on your schismatoglosis wallichii ( drop tongue) It is easy as the leaves will droop when it needs water

Yay! Yay! Yay!!!! The pepperomia??!!! I have the Elongata, super similar might even be the same plant but i’ve been telling some Influencers to PLEASE get this and no one takes my advise!!! Lol!!! It’s so gorgeous! I’ve had mine for about a year, maybe more and it’s had NO pests! So easy, and by far my favorite in my collection!!!! Enjoy! One tip, i’ve always bottom watered it and i’ve had good luck with that. good luck! Happy your No Buy is over 🤣🤣🤣

Oh that first plant that looks like an anthurium is stunning I've never seen one before. I have struggled with peperomias though. Please keep us updated on these I'm curious about the walichii how easy or hard those plants are. Good prices, perfect full specimens... Seems like a great seller but I'm in the states :( I like the braided tree myself.

I’m sorry you didn’t get the ph. Martianum, it would have been the best one! It was also on my wishlist and I managed to snatch one last November from an online shop for around the price shown in your video (I live in the EU). It’s awesome, it’s the chønkiest boi ever. ☺️ I have recently seen them popping up in more and more online shops in the EU though, so I’m sure more resellers will have it in the UK very soon (yay for tissue culture!). Fingers crossed you get your plant in the coming months 🤞

Their packaging is ridiculous! I ordered 2 plants and got a massive box. The plants were in the bottom of the box in the plastic carry case with tons of paper packaging on top-I got two babies. I thought is this from Amazon? I was also confused by the shipping as it states £6.99 for unlimited on each listing, but the only option at checkout was £4.99 for 3-4 day delivery... Your gasp at minute 6 made my heart drop I thought you got damaged plants! The Peperomia is gorgeous! The plants do appear to come watered as both of mine had moist soil. The Alocasia are actually my least favourite plants.

What a great haul! Such big beautiful healthy plants! Although, I think they could have better customer service, I’d be a lil salty for the lack of communication. I bought my tortum a few weeks ago, its a baby plant and I hope it grows to that size 🤞. My 1st impression of that peperomia was strange looking anthurium. Looks interesting.

Yeah they defo can grow up quickly. Honestly once I gave my baby one to Claire it sized up quite quickly because of her previous home had amazing light soooo give it good conditions and it’ll grow up!

Hey Emma I got a question for you I found a philodendron at a little plant store it has kind of velvety leaves the stems at the base the plantar read the petiole is kind of like fuzzy right by the leaf and it looks like something I know that I've seen on one of your videos but I can't remember what the name of it is

Hmmm it’s kind of tough to know from just the description. Sounds like maybe a sort of verrucosum as they have the velvet leaf & fuzzy petiole. If you got it and can send me a picture that would help 😊

Those plants are mega beautiful! I saw Claire's peperomia and fell in love with it so I fully understand why you got that one :) I think your Schismatoglottis is pronounced wrong, just because you mention it. Take the word Schism and pronounce it correctly and I think you'll have it down :)
