The rhetoric that Moyes and Dyche are alike is a massive insult to Moyes. It’s chalk and cheese. We’re passing it, moving off the ball, have a positive mindset, crossing it, creating chances and are still solid. Dyche is the up there with the worst we’ve had, arrogant and set us up as a club to be downtrodden to make himself look good when he escaped relegation.

You're spot on Baz with regards to the pre and post match conferences. I didnt get any feeling of confidence when Dyche spoke and often didn't understand what he meant, whereas with Moyes I enjoy listening to him and feel he's making decisions for the good of the team. Jamie trying to make the suggestion that Moyes and Dyches styles aren't a million miles apart... in terms of possession and style of play, ok there are similarities. However the huge difference in this Moyes team with the same players, is a more attacking intent and a willingness to get the ball forward and make their own chances. With Dyches team, you always felt it was a case of soak up pressure, and make the most of counter attacks and set pieces. It sucked out any kind of fluency and is easy to setup and play against once its been figured out

Moyes is a much better manager than Dyche in every way. Tactically, man management, fan relationship. To say Moyes is similar to Dyche is wrong and an insult to a manager who has some actual talent beyond delivering limited Sunday League football.

Bit disingenuous regards Dyche there Baz imo, a "decent" job? He took the job when arguably no-one of his experience would have touched us with a barge pole, fronted every aspect of the club to the media week in week out and kept us up twice in a row whilst having his most saleable assets (apart from Pickford) sold every window. Bit more than "decent" I'd say. Just because he "never connected with the fans" which he did at times it felt, especially when he kept us up the first time, and we've scored a few goals now shouldn't detract from what he managed to achieve for us. Regarding his tactics, he 100% set us up not to be beat, every successful side in the history of the game starts with not conceding many goals. From there you try and create ways to score and win. More than once he claimed the "players were not doing what they were being asked to do" that's on the players. If my boss asks me to do something (as long as it's legal and ethical) if I don't do it, or try to do it, that's on me just like a lot of those performances were on the players not the manager. We've become a society who love a scapegoat and football epitomises this. It's great seeing Moyes back in the dugout and I hope the fans continue to back him when results inevitably stop going our way for a time, the future looks bright (blue) for our club but the key reason we will go into BMD as a PL side is the work Dyche did.......and Pickford!
