Alex, I watched your video about being at a crossroads in life and not knowing where you fit into the universe. I’m 29 almost 30, like yourself, I’ve experienced addiction and often I find for us in recovery, it’s so overwhelming to come to the realisation that we’re not going to die. When we spent every waking moment in agony and wept silently for death as we OD’ed. We now suddenly have to, and with ever increasing likelihood, face a longer life than we could possibly have imagined. I never expected to see 19, now at almost 30 and having just lost my childhood best friend a few weeks ago, I feel some kind of drastic shift is happening for people in our age bracket. We’re coming out of the clouds of chaos and dealing with the fact that we have to put some very broken pieces back together. It’s very much sink or swim, and we both know how scared we are to drown again. Finding a passion in a creative outlet where you physically bring something of value into the world is essential in this time of self-discovery. Your channel is an example of this. Look, Alex, you’ve come so bloody far despite the obstacles you’ve faced and thousands of people tune into you daily when in addiction, people often turned away. If past Alex could look in on present Alex, I’m sure he wouldn’t believe this wonderful life you’re living. I get it Alex. Ive been struggling with life for a good while now. I feel like Im stuck with no preserver. Im a 31 year old SAHM of 4 kiddos one being disabled. I had exactly the same feelings being a sahm. Last year I finally looked for help and found a place to volunteer. It saved me, I felt so much more part of the society. Even though being a mom is beautiful, we also need to be around other adults and have somewhere to go outside the household. It made me a stronger person and the kids are proud of me because I help people. Hope you'll find your place back, you're definitly not the only one feeling like this. ❤

Fajr prayer is before dawn which is approx 90 minutes. We don't pray when the sun rises as in Islam it rises between the horns of Satan. Fasting is actually good for Type. 2 and prediabetes (former pre diabetic) So today sunrise was 6:51am. We prayed at 5:14am

@@hailbones666 there are actions we do in order to be different to non Muslims. There are people of different faiths and practices who prostrate to the sunrise or pray to the sun rise. It's a lesson that I learnt ages ago but the proofs (according to Islam) we follow are in Sahih al-Bukhari (581) and Sahih Muslim (831).

While my own life circumstances are different, I'm about to turn 29 and had a career change 6 months ago and it also made me realize I don't fully know what I want from life and need to make changes. If it makes you feel better, my mother is over 65 and told me it's common, that she had to deal with being uncertain and it shouldn't make anyone feel bad. ❤️

A gallbladder will have you in the hospital and on meds because it’s extremely painful and people feel really sick. My friend has gallbladder problems and what she talks about sounds more like a boil.

I’ve been sober from alcohol for 14 years and opiates for close to two. It can and will get better if you let it. You aren’t alone in struggling because we all do in life.
