I will never understand why manufacturers chose to use the inflatable concept for cold plunges, especially in the $2000+ range. It is not a durable item and will not survive the outdoor elements for long. $4490 for an inflatable is WILD especially since you can get non inflatable options that are properly insulated with a quality chiller for much less (like the ice barrel 500 & 300). This one is an easy skip from me. Thanks for the content as always!

Thanks for video Maus! My wife and I have gotten into hot/cold therapy over last year. We used an ice pod outside to start (try it out on cheap) was great but had to add ice, no filter etc, lived in cold climate so we could use cold tap water into bathtub into the 40s!), just moved to a new larger home (also in cold climate) and we just ordered the plunge xl evolve (I’m 6’5 and all in won’t fit into basement steps) and will put in basement gym next to sauna. Excited for the upgrade, plan to use daily! Helps with mood, sleep, muscle pain. Health and recovery zone (we have two little boys)!!!

Purchased the new Evolve Pro Chiller and it was great...for 1 week. It stopped working completely and after 2 weeks of it being down, Plunge has yet to fix it. It was great while it worked, but Plunge's Customer Service has not been good. I understand that things can break but, as a business owner, I don't understand not taking care of your customers when things go wrong. If anyone is thinking about buying any products from Plunge, suggest you think twice if you care if they value you as a customer. David, I love your reviews, but I would be concerned about promoting a company that doesn't seem to care about its customers.

Update...Plunge Repair Team can't seem to find a technician for my repair yet. DO NOT buy from this company. If you have an issue with your Plunge, you will get terrible service. I may just return the entire thing just so I don't have to deal with a company that doesn't care how their customers are treated after the sale.

@@SamEiser i read these types of reviews about Plunge all the time. And its a damn shame because its an exciting "looking" product. Unfortunately, they seem to be missing the boat on the most important part

@@MavRickChiro I agree. It's a great looking cold plunge and we were so excited to finally get it, but If I treated my customers this way, I wouldn't have any left.

@@SamEiser any refrigeration appliance / ac/repair tech should be able to open this thing up and check the compressor and check for refrigeration leaks, check pump function etc. also where are you located? What are your symptoms of it not running?

@@Go2Sleep911They sent a technician out to remove the ball valve over the weekend. That fixed the flow issue and it is cooling again, but now there is a slow leak from inside the chiller. Plunge said it would need to be replaced now and that they would be reaching out to me very soon, but that was a few days ago and I still haven’t heard back from them. Dismal customer service.

You know i have the plunge, with old filter and chiller set up, Have you figured out an effective way to capture or limit the amount of condensation dripping off the Culligan filter housing? I added more pipe insulation to the pvc, but i have lots of dripping from the humid air now in the summer. I know you must deal with it too in the Fl humidity. There needs to be some sort of way to insulate it? Just haven’t figured it out yet..

Not that I know of, but maybe add a bowl or make a small drip tray under it.

@@DavidMausJr I’m going to try a neoprene Nalgene insulated water bottle sleeve. Suggested by another DIY plunge channel. Cheap try for 13.00

Thanks for the video. I got the plunge air and the tub and cover don’t align properly. If I align them on one side, there’s a gap on the other side and vice versa. The gap is big enough for bugs and dirt to get in and the water is almost always dirty as a result. I have tried to get support from the company on this with minimal success. The post sales experience has not been good. Hope you can pass along this feedback.

I just bought the air plunge but it didn’t show me the option to get the new pro chiller so I got the standard one. Would you know how the water maintenance works with that one? I haven’t found anything about that since it doesn’t have ozone inside.

Will you be able to do a video comparing the Ice Barrel chiller vs the Plunge chiller? I recently pre ordered the Ice barrel chiller and would like to see how it stacks up. Now I just need an update on when I will get the chiller.

I am soooo glad I read this reviews before purchasing from Cold Plunge. Extremely disappointing. Has anyone had a good experience with Ice Barrel?

Company is terrible. Mine broke 3 times in 2 months. They finally replaced and that one broke in 2 days. They don’t allow negative reviews on their website. Now they won’t let me return as out of 30 day window. Has been a nightmare

Did you ever say WHY the water in the Air was dirtier? You made it seem like it was the material thats making it dirty. It's a bit confusing.
