I like the idea of Jon and Dan sending Matt flowers and plants for all occasions. They should send him roses so he can dry them and hang them on his wall! Imagine him streaming with a wall of dried roses hanging upside down behind him and never acknowledging it.

Was crying near the end! Holy shit, it's always fun to hear people discover the, uh, 'diversity' on the Nexus. It's also funny to hear them talk about it as if it's somehow most prominent on Fallout 4. Maybe they'll discover Skyrim next time!

Also... they were saying CBBE is 1/12 players, but that misses that there are like 2 other HUGELY popular texture titty mods.

In all fairness, as Dan himself noticed CBBE isn't JUST a tittymod, but also the mod you want if you're just looking to make humans generally better looking.

For anyone who wanted a more practical answer to Jon's question about Star Trek planets, "M-Class" ranges from Vulcan, a hot, dry desert planet that humans can live on comfortably with moderate accomodations (think a planetary average of Arizona or Egypt) to Andoria, an ice moon where humans are recommended to wear heavy insulating jackets at all times when outside (think a planetary average of Alaska or Siberia). Marginal planets have their own unique designations (K and L), as do gas giants (J and T class) and planets where biological life in any form is physically impossible (Y or "Demon" Class). Jon's ocean planet with one desert island would probably be K class, as it is technically habitable but requires extensive habitat construction to be livable.

The most recent seasons of The Simpsons have been a return to form. They've had some very emotional episodes that will not feel out of place in earlier seasons. "The Wayz We Were" and "Pixelated and Afraid" are both very good episodes for emotional impact. And then "A Serious Flanders" is a non-canon two-parter which is also very good. Those are just this season alone and I highly recommend them when they come to the UK. Al Jean, who has been the showrunner since season 13, has been taking more of a back seat recently whilst Matt Selman has been showrunning a majority of episodes now. Which is a big part of the reason the show has been getting better again.

I really didn't mind the RDR2 stuff. Once you stock up on random canned goods, you never have to do it again. And if you really are too lazy to pick stuff up, you can also just go to the general store and buy it. A can of beans costs like $1 and you literally have thousands of dollars in the second half of the game. The only stupidly unneeded realism I found was with the treasure maps. You had to search through like 3 different menus to find the one you want, and if you got it wrong you'd have to go through it all again, and then you put away the map, and you have to go through the entire hassle again if you want to look at it again... ugh. Anyway, the sheer greatness of the world and the story and the characters overshadows any annoying little issues I had with it.

The reason you guys think HZD is just another game is because you all quit before getting into the story. Functionally, it's just an ubi-like. Story-wise, it gets excellent after a while.

Honestly, i never played much pokemon growing up, and i can feel with matt in alot of ways and to this day im still not 100% with pokemon, but than i freakin love the smt and persona games (obvously the games closer to the pokemon type of gameplay of allying with demons/shadows) i feel as if the games having a much more tangible gole in mind instead of beating the gyms and the elites, and the fact that each game has a very different and unique feel to them while not switching up gameplay to an extent that makes them feel entirely different, take for instance the switch from persona 1 and 2is/ep to 3 and than 4 to 5, the games haveing wholy different feels to them, damn, this was a freaking comment and a half

Movies drop on valentines day to get that date money. Usually it's a sign that the studio isn't too sure the movie will sell on it's own. Not necessarily because the movie is bad, usually they're just not sure if the movie will generate interest on it's own EDIT: Did Jon just say a fucking FORD is "reliable"? EDIT 2: That episode with Quark is really good though! Quark towards the end of the episode uses a synthesis of Klingon law and Ferengi tradition to expose a really horrible plot, and then GIVES UP A BUNCH OF MONEY WILLINGLY BECAUSE IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO. The episode really REALLY shows Quark's depth. EDIT 3: Honestly, a full reboot of the Simpsons is what the show needs if they want to keep it going. Then we can stop one-upping and one-upping, and maybe change the humor of the show in a way that lets it last better. Modernize the humor style, give it a new semi-unique art style, etc. Would it be as good as the original show was? Almost certainly not, it's a stupid high bar to clear, but it probably wouldn't be actively terrible and would at least not be tired. EDIT 4: I don't think the Simpsons IS timeless. It is and was very much a product of its time. The humor is from the late 80s and early 90s to this day. It's just that the first 8-10 seasons consistently only told late-80s-early-90s jokes THAT WERE GENUINELY FUNNY. And genuinely funny jokes are funny forever regardless of how of their time it is. There are ancient greek jokes that still fuckin bangers. That's one of the reasons they have to keep one-upping and one-upping, they've ran out of those funny jokes. South Park IS timeless, they adjust the humor to fit the current time. You could just drop South Park into Shakespearean theatre and they'd still thrive. The thing is that adjustability means the jokes of the time are not as consistently funny as the early Simpsons.

The big problem with this podcast series, is that Dan is constitutionally incapable of shutting up for even 10 seconds. So he's constantly cutting both Jon and Matt off. This gets infuriating when Jon, or Matt are trying to make important points, or say something insightful. He does this to Stuart constantly in their colabs too. Someone get this man some caffeine and ADHD medicine. He's a lovely guy, but it gets really annoying when he can't let the others finish, often derails what they're saying, and is off-topic 99% of the time.

Dan is clearly *nationalist*, rather than racist, as the UK and the USA are simply nationalities, and basically share much of their racial makeup. If you're going to be some kind of ist, then at least get it right!
@natsume-hime24732 жыл бұрын
You do realize that the core of nationalism is ethnic purity, right? In the UK and US that means white people only. So, yeah it's racist, inherently racist.
@ThePzwilson2 жыл бұрын
@@natsume-hime2473 not necessarily. While nationalism is often tied with racism, lots of people are extremely nationalistic regardless of their views on race. There are Americans of all races that are fiercely nationalistic, for example. Especially relevant in a comparison where the USA is involved. Edit. Your sentiment implies that a black British person could not be nationalistic.
