Agreed. But gold grinding is broken in the game - they are too stingy. It wants you to play everyday without letting you stack up a lot of loot. I play a LOT! But some weeks I also get busy with life. 5000+ games and I still have to unlock 10 licenses. My friends don't start playing because you have to almost play 5 weeks to unlock a single license. (2100 coins per week + other bonuses) Clash of clans died because people usually have a full time job/college that they need to balance with games. You cannot punish individuals for this.

@@Moonlight52671 holowears are just skins, everything else you get it for free, emblems are good, but in actual tournaments are not even allowed and items are quite easy to grind to lvl 20, the lvl of the last passive buff, there are some items that are good at lvl 30 like amp or scope lens but they are not quite common in every mon like focus band, muscle, razor, spoon, wise glasses, etc. you can enjoy the game as a f2p, unless you play only with the eyes and you need skins for some reason.

The thing i love about this game is how unique the pokemon feel, even when they repeat moves, they have their twist and how the pokemon would use it the best, like Charmander and Delphox fire spin or Blastoise, Greninja and Slowbro Surf, there are other examples but i love how they translate those little changes of personality depending on the pokemon that uses the move.

Item enhancers provide raw stat boosts to your items, you can get more item enhancers faster if you pay money, that is a direct gameplay advantage that is monetized, there are means of progression that don't directly affect gameplay, Fortnite doesn't have you unlock a slight damage boost as you get farther into the battle pass, you're just actually wrong and trying to pretend that I am a liar for some reason? It's not a contradiction to say that I do not play often and notice new pokemon because I pay attention to the state of the game even when I am not playing. Saying "don't like don't play" is a cheap way to deflect criticism, like any game, there were parts I liked and parts I don't like, I explained it in the video, I recommend you watch it again to more thoroughly understand my points and boost my algorithm, and while you're at it subscribe for more quality content! Also I don't know who MrWhoseTheBoss is but if he and I shared some points on this game I would wager he is very smart.

Things are wrong with this game man , I get it , They heavily monetized the release of Ex pokemon like Zacian and Mewtwo , made them broken , had them be 3 times the normal value to buy in gems and completey ruined the state of the game for months by realsing 2 utterly braindead broken mons to make a quick buck but you guys focus on the wrong part , the item enhancers aren't that important, NO ONE BUYS THE BATTLE PASS FOR THE ITEM ENHANCERS IT IS A GOOD DEAL TO GET A 2499 GEMS SKIN and added character outfits FOR 499 GEMS , thats it, also you are over estimating the value held items provide, first off all the items in the game are used for the passive ability they posses ,Passives get maxed out at level 20, they do a poor job of spreading that information but you only need level 30 for a very few items, and even that because some moves for specific pokemon get an advantage because of that but it isn't some game breaking stat buff. paying money to buy item enhancers in hopes of getting a gameplay advantage is the stupidest way to spend money in this game I assure you of that, I have an alt, it has all level 30 items, you can play on it and you will find out that LEVEL 30 ITEMS aren't as big of a deal as you are making them to be, it's progression , every game has to have that, YOU WILL FALL BEHIND if you play one every 3 months , it's not the game's fault that you are too lazy to come out and progress and play , that's the point of emblems too, they provide a passive buff too but if you play like 3 days a week you can max out your energy tank and get the most spins, I play this game, I don't love it, but it gets me coming back for some reason, I would love for this game to be called out by everyone for it's wrongful practices but somehow it's always people who themselves haven't played the game for more then "oh it's a pokemon game" , you guys don't get it , if you really want to make videos like this please consult from people who have played the game for a while, otherwise this is just mis information and excuses for bad players of why they can't progress. Everything else can be earned through playing the game. It's also proven every season you don't need emblems or items to do well, you just need to get better at the game. Are there an abundance of things to throw real money at? Yes. That's how f2p games stay afloat but at no point do you every need to spend money to play this game well.

With all the flaws you pointed out, Im surprised you didn't mention the broken @$$ matchmaking. The higher your win rate is, the LOWER the WR of the people you get matched with. The devs’ idea of “balance”. Microtransactions everywhere possible is common of a free-to-play. My only wish is that buying the battle pass would only match you with other players that have bought battlepass. At least that would eliminate the possibility of getting matched with little kids that dont know what's happening. I also hate that one person can't carry the team no matter how skillful, but one person sure as hell can throw the game and cause the whole team to lose.

The match match making is not Broken for that reason. It is because when you rank Up to a new rank you cannot go down from that rank. So if you are carried to that rank you are not going down.(There is a lot of them in solo because they don't play with people not because they don't want but because no one wants to play with them). The only way to go down ranks is at end of season when a new one starts

Pokemon unite will always be a bittersweet experience to me. I started playing on release week. Met a group of friends through discord servers that I played Unite with pretty much every day for the first year the game was out. I still stay in contact with them even though we've all kinda moved on from the game. In fact, one of my buddies and I have been making a Pokemon fan game together for the last year solely because we met through Unite. So it's kinda frustrating how, even when I feel like playing the game, I lose interest so quickly when I get bombarded by a barrage of ads every time I open the game and get anxiety from having to navigate dozens of menus to collect all of the "rewards" for playing. Sometimes we get together to relive the old times. But it takes about 5 games before all of the issues we didn't liken become too much for us, and we put the game down for like 4-6 months again.

Many of these faults are not true while the monetization can seem to be a problem for the kids that play the game. The other problems you're saying, their mostly invalid rayquaza is a deciding point of the game in which the game can be turn around but if one team is winning they can defend it and the other team can almost do nothing cos other team has advantage. I agree that the solo grind is hard but if you want cosmetics and yo need to play with a pokemon that you never played or do regice yo go in a normal match not rank (sure there is someone trying to do missions but its rarely seen) most of the time if you're bellow masters you'll find this teamates in masters doesn't happen that much.(i could point more but seems pointless)

It’s a free game. That’s why there’s skins you have to buy. Literally every game that’s free has battle passes, paid cosmetics, and item boosts. If you waste your coins on bad mons or item enhancers on leftovers then that’s on you for being bad and not knowing anything. The game gives you items to max out a few items. Emblems literally give almost 0 benefit to you and they are banned in tourney play anyhow.

Tbh, the only thing “pay to win” about this game is unlocking new mons. Its tedious but you can still do it. Skins dont affect gameplay, and you dont need perfect emblems or maxed out held items. Im completely free 2 play and reached masters several times.

What I've also noticed is that if you buy gems and play ranked matches.... You get teamed with generally good players who will most definitely not use leftovers on cinder, deci and ninja....lmao So it is pay to win. Pay to get decent teammates!

no, i have bought a lot of gems for some passes and the problem it's not the gems, it's the broken matchmaking, timi has never solved that. the matchmaking it's like some other games, 1 or 2 good player with 3-4 bad players so bad players have some chance of winning and don't stop playing, but the good players have to stop or make duos, trios or 5s. If you are like the third in pokemon choosing, either your team has a trio or you are the bad in the game.

And held items are ez to upgrade and get as a new player. And the more ranks u reach, u get more certain tickets that u can use to either buy upgrade coins for your held items or buy a costume lol. The game gives u that choice. Only the new busted mons are p2w for only the first week. Because, they cannot be bought through coins during the first week. Only through gems. The biggest problem with this game, is solo queue's matchmaking. U get matches against duo or trio players and sometimes u get matched up with bad knowledge players like this guy😂 If a tower gets destroyed, these kind of players go afk😂 That's the biggest problem lmao smh💀

Well, I disagree with a few points. First there is no P2W on the game. On that part you are only right about being overpowered when launched for gems and balanced when free, but it usually stays unbalanced for a time after going free. Besides, it is only 1 week for pay after going in-game currency. You talked about enhancers that are given to the ones who pay, but the amount that is given is ridiculously low. Even paying players HAVE to grind in order to buy the enhancers with in-game currency. The game even gives 3 Max items for free for new players (which is enough to equip a few pokemon to play). I have every single pokemon there is available on the roster and I've only payed for 3 or 4 of them (out of 30 something) because I wanted to pick them early and now I have tons of in-game coins that I have nothing to spend on. I have all my items maxed out completely for free. I do play every day, yes, but usually 2 to 3 matches while working out on a stationary bike (that's 30 to 40 minutes), and once in a while, especially on events I play a couple hours. But the costumes for real money is really an issue. I think they should move some or most of them for the free area after a year or so of release. I agree with most of the rest.
