My father in law who fought in Burma during WW2, never talked much about it but did tell they came across two Burmese women hanging from trees, their breasts had been cut off ,Japanese officers would turn them into a trophy to hang from their belts used to carry objects. They stopped taking prisoners soon after.

Funny lot the Japanese. I'm not at ease with them and I have been to Japan. Nazis are still hunted to this day and the Japanese, many of whom are guilty of overseeing dreadful crimes, seem off the hook and selectively forgetful. There's a good book called Banzai You Bastards by a former prisoner of war Jack Edwards. Jack recently died in Hong Kong and was active in trying to bring Japanese war criminals to justice. The Chinese along with many of the South East Asian countries have an axe to grind for the past atrocities of the Japanese and rightfully so.

@delong8998 Pride in your nation is fine. The govt not owning up to their own past and teaching their own people the true history is a mixture of ignorance, stubbornness, and lack of remorse. Also, they didn’t make it out like nothing happened. The war and the two atomic bombs have had a significant impact on Japanese culture and outlook in decades that followed. Still do, to this day. Btw they “rose back up” as quickly as they did largely due to western (especially) US aid. Basically the US and the allies destroyed them to rebuild them as a bulwark against spreading communism and have a strong ally in the region.

My father was an older man and he could remember watching a public execution in Louisiana when he was a small child. His memories were spotty but he recalled the family treating it more as a picnic than a solemn occasion. He said his mother even packed a lunch so they could enjoy a meal before the hanging took place.

Dehumanisation of perceived enemies requires intense media brainwashing and 24hr, 7 day a week gaslighting in the media. The tyranny of men is a fire that is stoked by continual smouldering hatred, stoked and guided by the evil princes and principalities and the incorporeal realm, i.e. the pit of Hell. Satan wants to destroy the world, and we are constantly trying to preserve it. It's madnezs

There was so many that escaped justice at the end of WW2. There is a prevailing belief that Germans were the bad guys. In a way, yes, but the Germans were also using the traditional Eastern European hatred of foreigners (Jews) to carry out their goal. Thus a lot of their henchmen were the "untermensch".

Well actually there is no mystery at all regarding the woman's execution at around 5:30 in the video. Her name was Mária Pál (and not Nagy as the video suggests) and she had nothing to do with war crimes, she was a common murderer. She and her sister, Gizella (an ex-nun working as a housemaid) killed and robbed Mrs. Tasnády, the mistress of the house where Gizella worked. The court sentenced both women to death and they were executed on the same day in 1946.

@@Eric-jo8uh man / humanity has a quirk it’s DNA that makes it mandatory to kill each other. You see it every day. Every day there are people killing each other single or in mass or in war. Problem is with nuclear weapons were a war to break out this would cause humanity to go the way of the dinosaurs extinction. The earth would become radioactive civilization would collapse. Life might still exist but humans won’t. Possible that life itself will exist a reset and evolution will start over again. The soup of life exists in our oceans.

You're likely right. Americans have never really experienced war on their homes since the Civil War. Their exceptionalism also renders them susceptible to the delusions that affected the Germans in the late 18th and early 19th century. Their obsession with guns, wars and individual freedoms make them ripe for a conflict.

@Tiglath-PileserXIX things are certainly at a tipping point here. The fat and lazy politicians have failed to keep the delicate balance of rich and poor. You can only keep this up so long before your cities start to crumble, the homeless and squatters take over, while the narcissists rot society from the inside out. You have a few good folks left here, and they are being squeezed by the almighty corporation, the taxes and the big pharma. Just a matter of time..

He said his orders were to not kill Hitler!? The pictures were surreal, one showed a man in a camp that was just liberated by his team, no gun shots, no screams. So this old man was sitting on a crate naked in snow. He said carry me out past the gates so I can die a free man. They did as was asked, just outside they sat him down and he died! Horrible what people can do to each other!

Ww2 was a complete shit show. I’m sure humanity had to reach a pinnacle of evil at some point aided by rapidly improving technology. Let’s just hope that this truly was the pinnacle of man’s inhumanity against one another and we can learn from all this horror

For those who claim to not understand how anyone can treat other humans so inhumanly, simply read the comments to this video. And every one of those posting and gleefully celebrating the executions shown on this video don’t have any personal stake in the crimes of the condemned, yet they all are salivating over the deaths of each of these shown here. 😖 Just imagine what those posting here would be capable of doing to someone who they personally hated. Chilling?
@donknight6800
@donknight6800 5 ай бұрын
Stop. These were monsters they executed. And how do you know the people posting don't have a personal link to these filthy fascists? You think only those who directly suffered at the hands of these murderers were affected? There are millions of people still dealing with the crimes committed against their relatives. This pain is generational. Read a book or two about what went on before commenting

Just as one example, he mentioned the execution (By gallows) of Female Stutthof guards in Gdansk. One such example is Jenny-Wanda Barkmann. She selected women and children to be sent to the gas chambers and physically abused victims of the camps. Another is Ewa Paradies, who made female victims stand in freezing cold water and beat them if they moved. Why should we feel any sympathy to somebody like that? Those are just two examples of the thousands of inhumanities committed by the SS staff who were executed at the end of the war.

You would need to have lived under a rock, if you didn't understand the rage and anger of being there at that time. I would doubt there are many living. In any event, one shouldn't assume that the reaction to what occurred during WW2 as a result of the NAZI regime was anything other than justified.

Ok who is punishing Americans for their war crimes ? After U.N establishment in 1945, U.S engaged in approximately 30 wars and none of them were fought on their borders. Even if I leave their invasion of Afghanistan to find Bin Laden as response to 9/11 ( he was found in Pakistan, who gave Laden shelter after taking money from U.S to fight communism.. ), 3 nations were destroyed - Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria .. this is in addition to their efforts in regime changes and funding terrorism.. Who had punished British colonial rulers who plundered my countries and looted their wealth, divided the countries and created fissures that never healed and will never probably.. notably India
