Even with that, I just don't know any band which mixed it up like they did and all of them had really uniques styles, from singing to drumming. Borderline impossible to replicate, even if it is 'just' pop, rock, reggae, new wave or whatever else...

I did. I distinctly remember saying that in 41 years we'd all be watching a Christmas video of this song on our tiny hand-held computers with high definition video screens while walking around sipping $6 coffees. You're right, it comes from the same video session than De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da vid, they wear the same clothes indeed... But I think it was rather filmed in Holland where Zenyatta Mondatta was recorded, not in Canada !

Several persons here state it was filmed in Canada, so I doubt of my (old !) memories... 1980, Morin Heights, Quebec, Canada, it seems to be right. Someone else wrote below it was filmed in France in a ski resort, but I have many doubts about it... Being French, I should've known about it ! I'm also a lifelong fan, love them since I first heard "Message in a Bottle" in 1979 ! :-)

@@babel1759 It was filmed at the Grey Rocks ski resort north of Montreal, on Mont Tremblant when their concert was delayed a few days as they were being moved to a larger venue. They had a huge following in Montreal before the rest of the world caught on (ditto for Genesis, Babe Ruth, Yes, Chris de Burgh and numerous other musicians).

OMG Wow! Where has this video been the last 41 years? CRAZY!!! 41 years when this video was made on top of the hills of Gray Rocks. An hour North of Montreal in Canada and where I learned to ski!!!!! Unfortunately, Gray Rocks closed in 2009! Beautiful throwback of the best years in music and the 80's!!!
