Lyrics:
Giant steps are what you take
Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
Walking on the moon
We could walk forever
Walking on the moon
We could live together
Walking on, walking on the moon
Walking back from your house
Walking on the moon
Walking back from your house
Walking on the moon
Feet they hardly touch the ground
Walking on the moon
My feet don't hardly make no sound
Walking on, walking on the moon
Some may say
I'm wishing my days away
No way
And if it's the price I pay
Some say
Tomorrow's another day
You stay
I may as well play
Giant steps are what you take
Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
Walking on the moon
We could walk forever
Walking on the moon
We could be together
Walking on, walking on the moon
Some may say
I'm wishing my days away
No way
And if it's the price I pay
Some say
Tomorrow's another day
You stay
I may as well play
Keep it up, keep it up
Yo yo yo yo

In most interviews, Stewart humbly claims that he's just a guy "who bangs on shit". He says he's random, and maybe that's true, but we all know that he always found beats that nobody knew even existed in time, which makes his drumming...well, timeless.

I wish there were more up and coming artists trying to push out music like The Police, Depeche Mode, ect... To those of you that had the chance to live consciously through the 80s and hear all these incredible artists in their prime, I'm jealous in the best way. I was born in 69. MTV started when I was junior high. I remember watching these videos before and after school. I used to listen to the Police, Rush, Pink Floyd, AC DC, Metallica, Guns n Roses, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Madonna, etc etc etc. I could go on and on. Plus that was when Walkman's were invented... the pre-IPod era. Music today does not even compare. Also, we used to go to the arcade to play video games. We'd all get together and have tournaments away from our parents. Then, we used to play football, baseball, basketball, frisbee, hacky sack, bikes, skateboards, etc outside with all the kids in the neighborhoods. It was truly the best time to have grown up as a child. I feel sorry for these young kids... they are so deprived... they have no idea!

One of the most influential 3 piece bands in music history. Each member brought a level of pure talent to the band that few groups could boast on their best days. That sound/grove/blend of genres that The Police mastered is so ubiquitous to them, they have a profoundly unmistakable sound. Sting may be the greatest bass player ever. Andy Summers guitar work is sublime & grotesquely under appreciated Steward Copeland's cerebral/introspective approach to all aspects of drumming has put him in a league few could hope to join. If you're old enough to have lived it, I'm envious. To those like me who found them long after their hay day, congratulations on opening yourself up to some amazing music.
