Brimming with wonder, reverence, and celebration, Victoria's setting of the Christmas text "O Magnum Mysterium" is one of the most well-known pieces of Renaissance polyphony.
Translation:
O great mystery, and wonderful sacrament,
that animals should see the newborn Lord, lying in a manger!
Blessed is the virgin whose womb was worthy to bear the Lord, Jesus Christ.

A good performance, despite some tuning issues in the tenor/bass and some irregular tempos in the soprano. Also, rolling R's is not entirely congruent with the composer/style, but I realize some singers make that choice. It is a gorgeous piece and a bold endeavor to sing one-on-a-part, so hats tipped to them!
