The two clear 'step down' fittings should be fitted to the outlet and the waste outlet points. This is shown in the diagrams in this video. However in the live action video, instead of connecting the clear fitting to the waste outlet, it is connected to the water input which is incorrect (and a waste of time).

I purchased the All Clear G2 4500 combo with the solidflo 3600, how do I set them up together? Intake from pump to intake on filter and outtake tube can be added to waterfall spillway? Can I just turn the pump on and it will pull water from pond to fill or should I not run it dry?

Hello - Yes, you will attach the tubing to the outlet of the pump and the other end to the intake of the filter. You can run the discharge tubing up to a waterfall or back into the pond.

The indicator light should light up white/ light blue. This simply lets you know the UV clarifier is operating.

Mohammed - The AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System uses alternating layers of high quality filter sponge and pads with specific cell densities. This combination allows for the removal of large debris all the way down to fine particulates, allowing for completely polished water. The AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System is set-up for 1 inch or 1 ¼ inch Kink Free Tubing and should be used with The Pond Guy SolidFlo Pump. Keep in mind that this filter is designed to be used in pond applications and has not been tested for Aquaponics.

shouldn't the UV be after the filter pads so the water is cleaner and so it can do a better job? Also too much filter pads no filter media, means it would have bad biological action better to have a coarse, medium and fine pad and the rest filter media>_> dunno why pond filters are setup like this while aquarium filters are set up in a much better way O.o

Hi Ben - A UV clarifier destroys planktonic algae, so having it installed before the filter pads and other filter media allows the dead algae to be removed from the water. Our AllClear Pressurized Filters include mechanical and biological filtration in addition to the UV clarifier.
