@@Significantharrassment It's not about "weak opinion". It's just a matter of perspective. Pretty much the same thing happened to me, actually. At first I was like "well, texture is gonna look fine in landscaping with a bit of a paint, of course, but what to do with those pesky, annoying flies?" and later when Khaios showcased the usage I suddenly realized that this was the main attraction of a block - that little particle effect which, if used in context, indeed looks kinda like mosquitoes or bugs and that's really cool. Poo block is literally one of the most interesting and complex blocks added lately, having unique mechanic of acquisition, special debuff attached, it's own splashing sound on impact and on top of that those cool as heck flies. That shit is amazing!

I was dreading the addition of the poop block, I remember a terraria youtuber talking about the terra toilet and he said, "What? You crafted a sword into a toilet? a great way to use this block is using the effect of the green gas particles around you when standing sort of as a futuristic cleaning chamber like those scifi movies where they go through a cleaning chamber to enter a lab or experimented on area how it will decontaminate you with gasses it oculd be a good way to recreate that affect or even a sauna a steamy room where u wouldnt really see the fog in a sauna but you can have it be a detail around ur character

The special sound effect of stepping on the poo and the flies flying could make a very good corpse block like item. There is flesh block but the poo can make flies appear and makes special effects when step on it.
