It doesn't matter how you feel, but what you do about it. I lived that lifestyle for almost 10 years, and I'm quite sure that it was all about lust, sex, vanity and love for the self. I was extremely promiscuous and selfish during that time. It was never about real love, which actually is to sacrifice yourself for the benefit of another. The higher Love that you can experience is the one that you get with Jesus, but you will never know it until you have a personal encounter with Him. It would be like blessing heterosexual unmarried couples who “live in sin” and do not acknowledge their sin or make any effort to stop that particular sin. When the Anglican Church in Christchurch NZ agreed to bless same sex unions 70% of Christian Anglicans left the Church within a year. They have joined the New Community of Confessing Anglicans who hold to the word of God . This is because we believe it is a Salvation issue.

But some Anglicans were going to Catholicism, because of the gay rights and women priest agenda. Now it's in the Catholic church too, so there isn't a lot of places to go to get away from it. You can find a conservative parish, if you're lucky, but when it's coming from the top down. I guess that's why so many stick their head in the sand and refuse to see what is really happening.

This is some of the same issues that have fractured several Protestant denominations. I recently joined a church that left the United Methodist Church. It was a painful and expensive separation. The UMC had allowed the ordination of openly gay clergy and church elders which was against the Church bylaws as well as the Bible as well as other issues. Just because you don’t condone a lifestyle doesn’t mean you hate them. However, keeping the church relevant or popular over following the word of God will ultimately condemn the members to a life of sin. Thank you for your ministry and the true message of God.

It’s an eye opening compilation of testimonies by 50 former Catholic priests all of whom left the priesthood after reading the Bible for themselves. They had actually been DISCOURAGED from reading it so they could be fully immersed in Catholic doctrine. I encourage all current Catholics to read it.

Respectfully, the Word of God talks about it a lot. It's simple called 'APOSTASY", which is a falling away from sound doctrine, AND IT IS PREDICTED TO BE A CARDINAL SIGN OF THE END TIMES in which we now live, in the run-up to the return of our Lord. It is covered in such scriptures as:2 Thessalonians 2:3, and 2 Timothy 4:3-4 among others.Clearly it's time for those who really want to follow Jesus to do what Jeremiah 51:45 foretold, and what was repeated in Revelation 18:4...."Come out of Her My People and touch nothing unclean'. This POPE is an elderly, frail, weak, 87 yr old man who is surrounded by hordes of homosexual priests, Cardinals & Bishops IN the Vatican. There are many stories of parties/orgies coming out of the Vatican. Many of these Religious are living a DOUBLE life & are desperate for the Pope to bless & legitimize their lifestyle. I was gay too until I came to faith and god healed me. Our church is under siege from without as well as within - pray for us. This is not done deal yet. Entire countries and continents of bishops stood up to it and said no. More and more are refusing every day. Which never happened in our church before. They cannot force sin and force bishops to push sin. So now I don´t know what will happen. But this won´t be successful in the end but the battle is only biginning. Pray for catholics. We pray for you too and now we really need all the prayers.

It pains me to say this, but I honestly don't get the impression that Pope Francis is trying to save souls. It's as if he goes out of his way to create confusion. If he were interested in the salvation of souls, he would encourage priests to counsel and bless people with a view to growing in grace and holiness, AWAY from sin. Thus, people in a same-sex relationship should be welcomed by priests and blessed INDIVIDUALLY to have the strength to depart from sin. Giving priests the green light to bless them as COUPLES is a disaster for the Church, the world, and those poor struggling souls! I can't even imagine what he's thinking.

Just listened to your video. As a Catholic Christian I am deeply troubled by the Pope's document on blessings. This document has caused a lot of confusion and division. The African Bishops have refused to implement the Pope's document regarding same-sex blessings. Many other Catholic clergymen agree with the African Bishops stance. However, the Pope has gotten rid of some outspoken American Bishops and Priests who are conservatives. So, I think American clergymen are not publically criticizing Francis's document. They know that they will be punished by the Pope. It's a very difficult situation. Bishop Strickland was kicked to the curb for criticizing Pope Francis. It's disturbing to say the least. Prayers are definitely needed. May God protect His Church and His followers.

Only when he talks about the doctrine of the faith is he speaking from the chair of Peter on high church matters and he can’t contradict the Bible Or tradition , he is a man he can have his own personal views on matters, the document does not change any church teachings and believe me we had worse Popes in the Middle Ages and will always have good ones and bad ones, he personally just does not like hurting peoples feelings so he stays in the middle on issues , the church is what Jesus promised not that perfect people will always be in it , hopefully we get a African bishop to be pope next time but no church teaching has changed but we have the German bishops treading close to schism so I think the Pope was throwing them a small bone but again no church teaching changed

Since some Germans have already attempted to bless the ssa unions as unions, without Vatican permission, and now this document actually explicitly forbids that. I am Catholic and stunned at this new development in our church. I cannot believe our pope is condoning same sex unions in this way. My sister is a lesbian and attends a Unitarian church that caters to same sex couples. I have often wondered if they simply “gloss over” scripture that addresses the sinfulness of homosexuality? She is so happy with this pope’s recent statement. I’m totally at a loss of words and feeling foolish. I hope this isn’t a reflection of where my Catholic church is heading.
