Becket You mentioned enjoying obedience so I thought you might enjoy this little fact. In my Bible study, I learned that “OBEDIENCE is BEING an ACTIVE HEARER”!

God’s standards are so wonderful … am I going to believe the culture or am I going to believe God? Thank you Becket being so forthright that God’s ways are the only way I desire to live, & He enables me to live purely & to be joyful living for Jesus!!

Your intro music always gives me peace cuz I associate it to this show and with obedience and depth… and your guests are so so good at bringing the glory. Thankful for them! Thankful for you! (BTW .. the chair behind YOUR left shoulder … cream with wood on the arms… is the furniture my parents had… I think. I am sentimental …and am a furniture freak.)

If a person thinks they can describe a “yom” as something other than a usual day, they also have to redefine an “evening” and a “morning.”

Friday evening is erev Shabbat - entering into the day of rest God established at creation and gave to Israel after the exodus from mitzrayim/Egypt. He also invites the people of the nations to rest on Shabbat in Isaiah 56:6. Shabbat is a gift, not a burden.

So, Brothers, this is so Amazing! I'm not kidding when I say that these are some of the things that that the LORD has shown me over the years! I get excited that water freezes from the top down so that aquatic life remains. I get excited that the LORD desires none to be lost and has established the stars in the heavens that we can find our way in the physical world!! To HIM be all the Glory, since forever and for ever.

Preston is squishy but I don’t think he’s a heretic. He just isn’t using the words she want him to because he’s using modern, maybe “progressive” words but I think he means roughly the same thing she does.

Just bought the book; looking forward to it, thank you for this interview. The world needs to know how great our God is! When we make Him small we are big and think all He does is to serve us. We are happiest and the most fulfilled when we are small, humbled before such majesty and splendor!! I pray the world doesn’t just get the tag ‘Christian’ but learns this awesome fear of the Lord!! All praise is due to Him!! Glory to God in the Highest!!

Hi Beckett, I just came upon this episode, and I am a 1970 baby, and I remember this was the same scene, same monologue in many, many sitcoms in the 1970's and 1980's, I love watching you, you are truly doing so much good, regards from Australia

Dear Becket, Im so glad to catch your show. Lately Ive been caught up in all the crazy good going on & being angry at some very disturbing people that take up to much airwaves. Anyway, I said to myself earlier " You've got to get away from this toxicity!" And their you are. So refreshing!! Pray that I'll stay away from the bait of watching those things. Glad your show is what it is & uplifting to so many. GOD bless you.

Why would the gay couple ever invite you to their wedding in the first place??? If I was going to marry a same sex partner I would NEVER invite you... exactly like Anita Bryant's granddaughter who married a woman chose not to invite her famous grandmother.

Christian nationalism ? The term scares me. The Bible says that we are pilgrim and that we are salt and light. The Kingdom of our Lord on Earth at his second venue, yes. Christian nationalism ?? The old dream of Constantine and Theodose? Christian nationalism must be seen under the full spectrum of church history, and frankly Christianity is healthiest when it is in the minority and tested... that's the reality... a bunch of dictators that Louis XIV and Hitler thought were chosen by God. Germans fought with the slogan "Gott mit uns" and French fought with "Dieu, famille, patrie". As an european evangelical I'm scared when I see pastors mixed with politics on TV, and when I see politicals put God everywhere. Beware of Christian amnesia. One of the only incredible exemple of christian comittement in high spheres I have is Wilberforce, and this is the hand of God making him change when he was already in politics.

I found this interview so profound and insightful. As a parent of a gay son, my heart ached. Our young boys are suffering for so many reasons and have been traumatized by molestation and pornography and other cultural demons. We need to talk about this and help our young people know their parents are there for them and they understand what has happened to them and will support them as they heal.

Only Christ has the power to save. The belief that anyone can save oneself is in no way in keeping with the doctrine of “Mormons” (respectfully and accurately referred The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). It is sad, and indeed exhausting, to the guest’s point, when anyone from any religion misunderstands this! That said, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints heed the Divine phrase, “If you love me keep my commandments.” It is only in that Spirit that we properly “do all we can do.”
@cynthiafisher9907Күн бұрын
@Davidwallen22 Most religions, including the LDS religion, are works-based religions. Christianity is based on the works of someone else, namely only the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary. We can add NOTHING to what Jesus did for us of any merit. Christianity brings rest to the soul, Mormonism brings dependence on one’s good works, or anxiety and pressure to be better, especially how one looks to other church members.
@Davidwallen2214 сағат бұрын
@ What you’re saying is simply not the doctrine of the church. One cannot walk away from reading the Bible without realizing works are important to God, but NOT because in themselves whatsoever they empower salvation. Christ alone has that power.
@cynthiafisher990714 сағат бұрын
@@Davidwallen22 Davidwallen22 It may not be the expressed doctrine of the church, but it IS the lived experience of millions of LDS people. The pressure is very real.

“Mormons” (respectfully referred to as members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) 100% believe in The real Jesus Christ’s power to heal when people pray in His name for it. It is singularly faith in Him that leads to healing-not the religion to which one belongs. He is a God of miracles! With all praise, glory and honor to Him, I have witnessed this happen many times. Much love!

The LDS church is a very polytheistic religion. Christianity is a monotheistic religion. That is only one of the many differences between the LDS religion and Christianity. Mormonism is not a Christian denomination, not matter how much the leaders want it to be recently.

I don't understand the complexity. We just must confess the Word. Satan is a copy cat. He takes what is of God and usurps it, turns it and makes it his own. Yes Beckett you are right. We encourage ourselves by speaking the truth - the word of God! So simple.

Listened to this twice and my husband. So blessed and encouraged. New International Version When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you. All of the above is so true regarding the bible. Proverbs 6 v 22. When you spend time reading the bible, not out of duty, but out of delight, you are encouraged, filled with hope, challenged and the more you read the more you want to read and are filled with the awareness of God's never ending love

APOSTOLIC CHURCH FATHERS You will often find that Protestants have very little knowledge of Church history before the Protestant Reformation. Those Protestants who have read the writings of the Apostolic Fathers of the early Church, and who preached the Gospels, are shocked to find that their writings not only conform to Catholic teachings and tradition but also contradict Protestant theology. These writings are one of the major driving forces behind an increasing number of Protestants joining the Catholic Church. For those interested in exploring the writings and sermons of the Apostolic Church Fathers, the following books are an excellent starting point. 1) THE FATHERS KNOW BEST: YOUR ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE EARLY CHURCH - Jimmy Akin 2) EARLY CHURCH WAS THE CATHOLIC: THE CATHOLIC WITNESS OF THE FATHERS IN CHRISTIANITY'S FIRST FOUR CENTURIES - Joe Heschmeyer
