THE POPE SISTERS were: UNA, ODELE, INEZ and EOLINE and where from Mobile, Alabama. The first clip here is from the 1935 Educational Pictures short titled "The Life Of The Party" which also feature THE CABIN KIDS.

Yes. You never heard of them because they wouldn’t let too many black girl groups make it. But they were popular for awhile in black clubs and theaters. Racism deprived this world of many great black talent.
