So you need to if you’re using a single cable set up ensure that both ports are USBC with a video protocol capabilities. Usually you would see this in like a USB 3.2 set up or thunderbolt. I’ve been successful with connecting two monitors to my laptop and desktop via this method.

I feel like people could get incredibly creative with this. You grab a suitcase (Preferably a strong, sturdy case) You grab an Xbox Series S (slim) Slap the monitor into the top part of the case And slap that xbox previously mentioned in the bottom part Make a hole in the back for the power cable and HDMI/DP cable Then BOOM - you got portable games as long as there's a power outlet

Hi, I'm using USB-C to USB-C connection with my handheld PC (a ROG Ally X), but I don't want the monitor to draw power from my PC. I would like to plug it into an outlet using the other USB-C port so it gets power from the outlet only. If I connect it to a power outlet while it's also connected to my PC via USB-C, will it still draw power from my PC or only from the outlet?

Its main power should draw from the power outlet. When I tested with a switch on found it slow trickle charged my switch in this config. I need asus pr someone to share the love and send me a u it haha

Too bad of those 13ms response, they are kind of obvious on PC to be honest. But for that probably you'll want to use a proper PC monitor. Great for productivity and on the go on everything other than games.

Was there any delay on Fortnite ? I want to buy this but I bought the other one that isn’t the gaming one and it can’t run Fortnite at all without delay . Scares me to buy the gaming one for it . Definitely looked way better on the video but just lemme know . If I wanna play in bed instead of you know getting up and setting everything up . Is it good for that , Fortnite in bed and some other multi games .

There shouldn’t be any input delays for either. This has a 144hz refresh rate and will feel much more responsive than the 60hz one

For a loptop that only has regular type c port (no DP alt mode). To have a self contained unit would we be able to connect a HDMI to mini HDMI cable for display and then use the type c port on the laptop just for powering the second display or do we have to connect the second display to the wall for power?

You can connect the hdmi for video signal and usb a to c or c to c for power. This would keep it self contained to just powered by laptop. You can alternatively use the the supplied wall ac adapter as well

The Nintendo switch alone is not powerful enough to run it. You will still need to plug the monitor into either a USB port or USB wall outlet.

I just got the same one and my monitor screen color is completely washed out, looks almost black and white, did yours come like that too, and are you using hdr

Are you using Mac or PC? You may need to check the color profile being used by your device. Also you can modify the video settings on the device itself. I typically use it non hdr but I had no issues either HDR in past? Just make sure you have right profile settings

@@mrisuchnoob4120I just got mine last week, the coulour is washed out like the other guy said, it is not really a big problem though, as you can change everything about coulours on the screen, I play games like cod and rocket league on my PS5, so the HDR activates. With the HDR on the colours is no problem at all
