Very helpful video, Jonathan. I have a design agency, and we employ 10+ members. I want to know, how long do I have to maintain the 10+ jobs in creation? Will the rules be the same as investment in terms of me being present in Portugal (1 week a year), or do I have to move full time for this? Thank you again!

Same rules as other GV investments, and you'll have to maintain the business for the duration of the 5-year qualifying period in order to obtain citizenship

Did anyone actually get a golden visa after investment? From what I see on internet, people invest and then wait for 2-3 years and nothing, no visa

2,800 Golden Visas were issued last year, which is roughly the same amount as were issued in 2022. Some cases have had their timelines extended for various reasons (government change, unclear policy, Covid-19) which has meant some have been waiting longer than previous cases. We're expecting significant progress on this front in 2024. The Portugal GV is still the #1 route to a remote EU citizenship by a long distance.
