Keep on rolling!! 😎🤘🏻 Beautiful voices blending together in perfect harmonies. This session is a jewel 💎 for the fan. The sound is so good and they are playing like the pros they are, so neat and caressing your ears with their perfect melodic songs and voices. Ken Stringfellow still looking the same actually! He must have made a pact with the devil 😂 Long Live The Posies ❤

Most of the bands from the pnw grunge scene were terrible… the posies were one of them.

Except they weren’t grunge but powerpop and they released their first album way before grunge became popular.

The Posies weren't the "post-grunge" scene. They had two albums out by 1990. They also probably didn't achieve the popularity of the other bands in the Northwest particularly because they didn't fit that mold when grunge rolled in - with their clean, melodic voices, vocal harmonies, and lyrical content. They are considered more the bastard stepchildren of bands like The Hollies, Big Star, Hüsker Dü, XTC etc.
