I’m so glad you addressed the thing about people asking why some influencers were not there. Saying that there was drama when there really wasn’t any. You even said at the beginning of planning it was gonna be a smaller wedding. I was getting annoyed people assuming drama was going on with certain people when a) yall aren’t that close so no invite or b) they couldn’t make it. Like yall don’t have to share everything. Like just because you used to hang out/make videos doesn’t mean you are besties. Also people grow as you get older. I wanted to be like “let’s all just be happy for Lauren and Jeremy and stop making something out of nothing” 15:44

It doesn't have to be "drama" but when your part of a friend group, where you were all "besties" and posted it all online, and then mysteriously 1 friend out of that group isn't in videos anymore, not on the big bear trips, not at the wedding, etc, it just makes us curious as to what happened 🤔 not asking for the "drama", just asking "why" she isn't around anymore?

As a Greek I’d say Mykonos is definitely not the move for a honeymoon. Way too overpriced for poor quality and honestly there are much more beautiful islands to visit. Santorini is a must, in September it’s not as crowded as in June and July. Naxos, Syros and Paros are also great. For a more picturesque trip Milos is also incredible. Lastly, Hydra and Spetses are perfect for a chill and laid back trip! Hope my suggestions were helpful! P.s. Crete is beautiful, Chania and Rethymno especially, but keep in mind that it’s a huge island and you need more than a week to have a good taste of the island!

If you’re going to Greece, definitely go to more than one island! Highly recommend Chania, Crete in Greece! It is a DREAM! You would love all the cute shops!

27:00 the funny thing is, I work in the wedding industry and it’s actually more rare to have “traditional” wedding colors than it is to have more bright and vibrant. Like, we’ve done full on black and red weddings. Dark plum and burnt orange weddings. Bright boho chic weddings. It’s funny that someone would even mention that. (Your wedding is so pretty though. Mykonos is for partying and Santorini is for couples!! Had the most amazing time in Santorini. We went during off season (April) so it wasn’t as crowded but also staying in imerovigli was a lot less touristy than staying in Oia and you still had caldera view! Santorini is literally heaven on earthhhh

i JUST studied abroad in greece last june and from my experience, santorini is GORGEOUS totally worth it, mykonos is really just a party island, lots of great beach bars and nightlife, pretty, and still pretty touristy, but there are much prettier islands. based on watching ur videos for YEARS i definitely think another island would be more of u and jeremy’s vibe. i’ve heard crete, naxos, zykanthos, and milos are all really pretty and less touristy. i personally think the best thing to do is hit a couple of the islands for a few days each! i visited 5 while i was in athens for a month and each island has something completely different and fun to offer!! i think the greek islands would be a great honeymoon destination super excited to see whatever you decide!!

for any future brides, those cool sparklers can still set things on fire! we had them at our wedding and our flowers were dried flowers so they had a flammable spray on them and during our first dance they set some flowers on the table on fire. we had a good little bon fire on the bridal table haha. everyone was safe the bridal party were quick to getting it out. but just make sure you don't have them too close to dried flowers. definitely a memorable moment :)

Regarding the bouquet toss, it's become a lot more common for a separate bouquet to be made specifically for the tossing so as not to ruin the original bouquet carried by the bride. But I also understand it's not something everyone wants to do and would add to the cost.

I think it's also something that has socially changed though! Last time I went to a wedding and all the "single ladies" were asked to go to the dance floor we were ALL pushing each other to the front because None of us wanted to catch the bouquet. Since we were all at the back, the bouquet landed on the floor, and then we realized how that must have felt for for the bride and rushed towards it. Definitely uncomfortable for all parties though :(

Personally went to Santorini & Zakynthos - Santorini was very much crowded (I went in June) and a hot spot for honeymooners and couples! it’s super romantic and stunning. BUT Zakynthos has beautiful beaches, way more quiet and low key, amazing rental homes, can drive around, and has so many charming spots with a small beach town vibe. Both offered totally different experiences!
