Great video! You are completely correct on that reading helps to boost focus and concentration which you can carry over to other aspects of life.

Christopher L Some of my best friends are readers for this very reason. Sometimes I get in a conversation with someone and rather be talking to a goldfish lol

Jecht Spencer Haha! I know exactly what that is like. It's so refreshing to talk to a reader because they're full of ideas. For me, I've found that Kindle Unlimited is a great economical resource for finding great non-fiction books on just about any subject. I've tried to get one of my coworkers to try it out but they say they don't like the fiction offerings since that's all they read.

As my teacher in Trinidad once said why rediscover something that has already been discovered he said why not read and don't ashamed that you learnt it from a book everyone has learned from someone.

Hi Spencer! Thank you for making one of the greatest videos about reading I've ever encountered. I read about 2 to 3 hours every day. Can you make a video about writing? Or can you tell me right here what's the difference between reading and writing? (and the bennefits)

Helpful video, sir! I am one of those people with the goldfish attention span :P The strangest thing is that I have trouble reading other people's books, but love writing my own! I can sit down and write and write for hours, but then I can't survive 2 minutes reading another person's work!

Yes most definitely. Really depends on if you write notes or tab your paper books.
