This is strong medicine. I don't understand what he means with hell though. How could anything be apart from God forever? A Course in Miracles says everyone will answer the call eventually. Didn’t Dr Hawkins teach apokatastasis/universalism?

Existence is set up so there is a choice between God and not God. Between Light and darkness. Of course, this is a projection of the Divine Mind and everything that happens within Existence is thus within the Divine Mind. From the perspective of the dance of energies within Existence you have the choice to acknowledge or refuse God, as the Doc has mentioned. "How could anything be apart from God forever?" Nothing can be apart from God, as the only thing that actually is there is God; at the same time choosing to reject God, is experientially rejecting Light, the source of Life, which inevitably results in suffering. "Forever" may be a trick of human language. How would you describe a state where there is no time, only infinite permanency? When God is the absolute love, the rejection of that leads to absolute non-love = hell, within Existence.

hi is it possible with the letting go technique to completely get rid of social anxieties and fears or they will always be there at some level and you can just manage them much better?

It's possible but not certain. You surrender and it's up to God.

@@TheGerogero yes I remember that in his book Hawkins speaks about improving sight with the letting go technique. Even if, ironically, even practising the letting go technique o had sight issues. I guess though that he would see fears and anxieties as emotions?

@@alessioroma2550 Yes, in that everything has a calibrated level of consciousness and there is an emotional aspect to every level. I have been in the process of surrendering various anxieties for a while with continuing success. I find that sheer awareness is key: as I can, I notice the anxiety arise as a sensation, accept it and choose to act with more understanding and compassion.

According to the Doc he had encounters with this very good warrior. The Doc was battling for the Christian God and the other guy was fighting for the Muslim God. Both were very good and strong. In the battle the Doc talked about, they killed each other at the same time - they plunged their swords through each other simultaneously. They recognized and honoured each other's sincerety and commitment. The Doc described how they came out of their bodies laughing, having realized the absurdity of the fighting for their "Gods".

Way, WAY to many respected respectable and respected teachers say free will us purely and entirely an incoherent notion. And our “choices” have been proven by researchers, 100% of the time mind you, to be made 6-8 seconds before the conscious mind (ego) claims having made a choice. We can choose what we will do but we cannot choose what we will choose. Programming, conditioning, prior experiences, desire and various other factors generate our seeming choices 6-8 seconds before moving mind claims having made a choice”choice.” Man cannot serve 2 masters. I serve small s self with substances, masturbation, sweets, shopping, etc. BUT, anyone who might need help or ask for help, I’m there, no strings attached. Purely coming from true nature which is love, love, love. Loving is easy and natural. Hatred and contempt is hard, unnatural and expensive.
