Forgiveness is not just a gift you give to someone else - it's a gift you give yourself
@ugandaobatay12443 жыл бұрын
Not as easy as it may sounds. A huge step in spiritual development. Some days...I get a glimpse of Forgiveness. But then... I remember sometimes...how mean spirited they were to me. They actually went out of their way to make my Life miserable. But I quickly recall Karma. Then I settle down. I teasingly say to myself...They are giving me an opportunity to DEVELOP Love...Kindness...Compassion...and Joy. Then I say...to myself...Thank you ThubJish or whom ever... for being a Jerk. You're doing a great opportunity to bring me to another level. Lord Buddha loves you. Everybody else...thinks your a rascal.

Constantly chant : Namo Amitabha, Repentance and Dedication of Merit. 南無阿彌陀佛🙏🙏🙏 Repentance All the unwholesome karma created by me, Arising from beginningless greed, hatred and delusion; Expressed through greed, hatred and delusion; I hereby regret and repent them all. Dedication of Merit May the merit and virtue accrued from this work adorn Amitabha Buddha 's Pure Land, repay the four great kindnesses above, and relieve the suffering of those on the three paths below. May those who see or hear of these efforts generate Bodhi-mind, spend their lives devoted to the Buddha Dharma , and finally be reborn together in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.

I think I needed the blank mind to begin with. I learned to banish all language from my mind and compared to what was happening that was bliss! I do it before sleep every night now. Feeling calm and not emotionally connected to past traumas is much ore difficult, but I did need the peace first. It was like I stepped outside of a noisy party, waited a while and gathered myself, then slowly went back in...

Forgiveness is an attachment. The best option is to ignore with no heart feelings and power of that option is enormous. Experience this option by you yourself and see the difference of Forgiveness and Ignoring. Thanks!

Are their female monks? ( maybe they're not called monks.? )
@kennyng22896 жыл бұрын
Female monks are known as nuns. Another word is Bhikksuni. Monks are known as Bhikksu. The spelling could be incorrect. I recommend that you search for Venerable Guan Cheng in KZbin to listen to the Sharks talk in English. He is based in Richmond, Canada.
