Your words of wisdom are always appreciated. My family has had a business in Southern California selling books by and about Native Americans at powwows for over 30 years. There are many books I refused to carry because of misinformation. This has necessitated me reading and reviewing many hundreds of books. I have always been passionate about reading and educating others with Truth.

Thank you for stressing the importance of cursive! There are so many people who can't read it, let alone write at all! Electronic devices have destroyed the basic knowledge of most people. I worked 5 years in a county clerk office, performing archive research...I loved reading the court cases, deed books, journals that dated back to 1853! Even though I lived in the same town my entire life, I actually learned more about our community history in those 5 years! History, whether it's written or spoken, define us as a nation...I find your stories enlightening, thank you.

I subbed just last week and am so enthralled by your videos. I have always had a deep and abiding respect for all Native Americans. According to my mother,I am 1/16th Sioux. I have never explored this, but one day I will. I have always felt that the indigenous peoples of this great land have been and always were treated poorly and taken advantage of by the government. I would love to see reparations made as you were the first true inhabitants of this land long before Europeans or anyone else set foot on this continent! I pray, one day full reparations will be made to all the proud Native American peoples!!! i love what you stand for and look forward to more of your beautiful and enlightening videos!!! God bless you!!!!

I believe there is so much to be learned from the way Native Americans lived which would greatly benefit our physical and mental health while also benefiting our home, Mother Earth. I'm not saying to abandon scientific or technical progress or knowledge, but to vastly shift our focus and awareness to encompass a much more holistic approach that serves the greatest good for all things. I think pre-colonization Native Americans held a deeper understanding of this than any other people I know of.

I agree! And when I began conscientiously writing in cursive again (for notes etc) I realized how clear and intentional your thoughts have to be to write in that manner. Some people also say that typing on a typewriter produces a similar effect of being more careful and intentional with what you are documenting ❤

Chi Miigwetch for sharing. I Love listening to your teachings. I resonate the way u were taught & I could hear the same Teachings & Tones learning of my Grandmothers. I could read and write cursive but the History books in the 70s I didn't Comprehend. I believe it's because it conflicted with my Grandmothers history. I remember it was Important to Honour Your Grandmothers Tongue. The French language taught to me in school was conflicting with the wY she taught us. I found that Very Frusterating in my school yrs. She also taught us Piano ... she Played by Ear not reading notes. I loved that about my Grandmother

You are so correct. Reading is a valuable skill. Key to opening the world of knowledge. Or correcting false history. Kids are so glued to social media. They can barely read and write yet still pass in public school. If I had kids, I'd homeschool them. Generation of fools who can't think or reason. Your wisdom is so generous, Grandfather!
