Jason Lee I played that a lot in the 70's but didn't know it had a name. Someone told me it was a hook-shot. The Hungarians really perfected the sidespin loop in those days, and many rallies between Jonyer, Klampar, Gergely would consist of the ball going back and forth, _around_ the net.

i can't say anything about the others, but after watching only the very first clip, i saw that the spin they were putting on it was actually top spin... just to let you know, its just that they take the paddle facing downward and do a 180 degree swing to get an insane amount of topspin that it also spins sideways...
