Thank you, Tara! I like starting my days with your talks… and sometimes I just listen, other times I go very deep and cry and feel my pain. At the moment your talks help me connect to that which I am trying to avoid… and I also love the idea of pausing! Pausing when in good and when in painful and hopelessness. Thank you for the openhearted help you offer with the talks. I can imagine it is lonely on your side- just you and the camera and the screen… but I am also there :-) I am grateful

I am deeply grateful for this talk. I had so many insights about myself and my state of mind listening to it. For 20 years I was living in environments that gave me little hope about the human capacity for kindness, honesty and decency. Then when this was over I did four one week retreats, a one month retreat at a center abroad founded by a teacher I had respected, and a 3 day retreat in Mississippi in which I met Tai in his yearly trip to the monasteries in the US, a rare gift. I also took a one week trip on a river with the Sierra Club and spent 12 days at a National Park. I was throughout this in a state of total anhedonia. My experience at the one month retreat showed me that the teacher I had so much admired was incapable of compasión. I had already noticed this when I had a private meeting during in a one week retreat. The resident teacher at the center seemed to be losing his mind and nobody seemed to realize he was not well. I checked out his talks in the library at the center from previous years and they were totally A year later another participant in the retreat with resulted in immediately jumping in with a judgement what was the use. For 9 hears since I have been in a state of hopelessness. I had been to several

Thank you ! This is the most powerful talk, inspiring and so practical . It addresses my biggest fears ; climate change and its manifestations, social injustice and one political party which has no solution , no plan to combat real problems so it focuses on creating imaginary problems to distract. I want to be hopeful and inspire others to face the the reality of the situation but also offer hope and paths to doing what we can. I am so grateful for all your thoughtful, honestly , life changing work.

Beloved Tara, it seems We share such a longing to help and be with community ~ How much Wholeness do we need in our own Hearts, 1st, before we are able to give real solid value to our Neighbor. Is is just the intent that’s needed ? I Thank God You are HERE 🖤

I have to say that one of the ways I have felt cut off or severed is by the wearing of masks. It removes a person’s expression and smile. I have to look beyond it and focus on the possibilities of the joy and connection I can create in other ways. 💕

Hope, in my opinion, is a weak word like charity; remember Obama's Hope & Change? Never happened. How about "Faith" as a powerful word instead! Peace.
