This is a mystery I still can't understand. I once stated in high school "I wish I could have a boyfriend like him, he is so cute" when i was checking out the star pitcher. Four years later, he came into my life and i married him. There was great emotion behind what I said. More occurrences have happened like this through out my life. Several things have happened after I verbalized it with emotion.

Words activates different parts of the brain. So, those words go way back in time, words can trigger parts of the brain that was set during childhood. Which is also, important to remember to watch what you say and what you hear. Your entire brain is one functioning community.

Indian spiritual leaders and Yogi's have been talking about this for 100s of years. But the world needs validation from the west or scientific evidence to everything which is just not possible for certain human capabilities.. science ll never be able to completely prove most of the human body's hidden treasures.

I understand the context of this anecdote. But it is one of the singularly dumbest 'words of wisdom' things I've heard. If the world sticks to not voicing how we feel we end up in shitty situations on a personal level and societal. Repression is not a good thing. Really consider the context of where and when this quote occured.
