It's been insane. Glad I didn't go that far. Anyways, I agree that DBS has been a lot of lackluster, almost filler esque, not much going on, up until Super Hero finally ended, but just on the whole of Dragon Ball itself. I would argue that Toriyama, individually, was still a level, at the least, above Toyotarou in the drawing technique for the characters and especially the story telling. 103 was good but you can see the heaviness of Toyotarou in the chapter and you can feel that difference. Not saying he isn't a great choice successor right now, and he hasn't gotten better, but strictly comparing these two, Toriyama and Toyotarou, for DB specifically, was what I was referring to here. If that makes sense
