After completing a 6 week life group on purity, I avoided going to the ceremony for many months. Finally after having the boldness to sign up, I was then asked to share my testimony by the leader of the group. Amen great video! My testimony is at 14 while I was reading the Bible God met me in a super intimate way and showed me how great my sin and selfishness was while at the same time showed me how fierce His love for me was and how much He wanted my whole life! That was when things really changed! 😄😄

I completely relate to the part about wanting to sound perfect and really make sure the message is clear and I honestly struggle with making sure that I say the right things when it comes to glorifying God. I put a lot of pressure on myself in that way because I don’t want people to think that I don’t know that God is the one in control. Something that has been really help me helping me with being anxious when sharing my testimony is knowing that it’s not about me and it’s about glorifying God .

Great advice. I think we always need to remember that our testimonies should ultimately point others to Christ. I think people share too much about themselves and not enough about the redeeming work of Christ.

Getting ready to get ready! I'm tucking up loose ends and confronting the who's that go with the what's of my past. It's my story, yes... ut it involves other people (not by my choice). Their behavior & actions might have been shady, but I choose classy. They can believe me or not. They can deal with it or not...but my silence serves no one. I've been asked to speak (with authority & experience) about hot button issues...(sex abuse of minors, generational abuse cycles, rare miscarriage scenarios, livingbwith people in autism spectrum family, etc...) These may be my stories, but they involve others. Crassly to me is asking questions, getting permission/ blessing to share. And in those super-boundaries areas, tell, inform & advise the other party that " This is what I'm doing. I plan to be tactful and discreet, and its happening. I'm giving you the gift of notification & a general heads up that this is what I'm doing to try to help & advocate for other people" At least the other parties will have been served. Thanks. I don't think my problem is telling people my testimony, I think my issue if figuring out what my testimony is in the first place. If people were to ask me what my testimony is, I wouldn't have a good idea of what to say. Here's my story A.U.D. My testimony of A.U.D. or Alcohol Used Disorder. 👇 "First I stayed clean because I had to. Then I stayed clean because I was willing to, finally, I stayed clean because I wanted to". I'm an addict worldless and breathless, I grew up in a family or an environment in which I didn’t have any, exposure to alcohol use disorder at any point in my life. I began my addiction out of curiosity. Whatever my motive for starting and my circumstances where I soon discovered that the addiction relieved more than just physical pain. It helped me avoid the problems I faced-or so I thought. "One time lead to two times and two times lead to a habit that would not quite". This program helped re-direct me to start thinking about solutions and not problems what do my problems reveal about me? I learned my lesson through pain and failure. "Alcohol hasn't worked for me for 47 years, why is that going to change tomorrow?" The problems I face will either defeat me or develop me towards the change I see in the mirror every day that's looking back at me! "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself" "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." "When we're confronted with the truth we are then faced with the crisis of decision" Thanks. to the Arizona Court system and this program. It has impacted my journey circumstances to change. This given opportunity won't go to waste or be taken advantage of. I will take every occasion from here on out given to turn my mistakes into Stepping Stones instead of stumbling blocks!
