The Powerful Opportunity of a Sun-Pluto Opposition with Alex Skye

Thanks, Alex. One thing that has stood out to me with Pluto oppositions is that things are removed in permanent ways. BUT, the things that are removed are those that NEED to go. @@elainstill1671 thank you. Sorry l feel so v negative. I've just been diagnosed with CPTSD. My 56 year long nightmare revealed. I fell out of love with my mum aged 8. She did the worst job imagineable. I hated her for that. Her partner beat the scheisse out of me for 11 years. I can safely say if you are male with Cancer Sun and Ascendant and want a strange mother get the Aquarius Moon. _It works a treat_ Plus Sun opp Moon (by degrees) T Squared by Neptune (well known child abuse configuration) and Mars conjunct Pluto in the house of Siblings (l got bashed up for what they did- oldest / scapegoat). Now 64, they say you choose your astrology. Who would choose this?

Such a timely message….I’ve always had issues with men telling me how to drive since my father tried to teach me when I was 16. About 2 hours ago my partner was trying to be “helpful “ when I was trying to get gas at a crowded gas station. I really went off on him….explaining about my father experience. He was really hurt…I did apologize but made it very clear. Don’t give me unsolicited advice, it triggers me. He is a Taurus, I am a Scorpio. It literally fret like I took the bull by the horns. Best I have felt in a while.

Loved your interpretation of this, and Pluto transits overall. Real resonance. I have just reached that "I'm done" place and it has required a great deal of courage to leap into the unknown and embrace the endings and changes required. As the manager and partner of a performer for 15 years I have reached the point where having my hard work and unwavering loyalty taken for granted and being consistently undermined has damaged MY self esteem. As T Pluto has its final hit of Natal Saturn at the end of my 6th house I have finally put my foot down firmly. Interesting it co-incides with this sun opposition...

Resonated for me! There has been waffling between throwing in the towel, self-sabotage through procrastination and then an awareness of the patterns and being determined to hold my own feet to the fire and keep going. I'm trusting I will be transformed for the better if I keep moving. More creativity will arise and I discovering a part of myself I am didn't know. I think pluto is transiting my h1. This was powerful and enlightening. My pluto challenge has to do with self-worth and value in relation to the value I have in connection with “other” (transit pluto is in my 2nd, Sun in 8th conjunct vertex). I have a pattern of trying to prove myself, and have self-sabotaged many times doing so. Your analysis just helped me see this. I can physically feel my body tensing when I feel threatened…and then I say something that I usually regret. From now on, when I get that feeling, I will ask myself “what are you trying to prove?” and do my best to just shut my mouth and just breathe. A most illuminating presentation! This opposition falls close to my only opposition: Chiron in Capricorn opposing Uranus in Cancer and the upcoming Venus retrograde through Leo will trigger my Ascendant, Sun, Moon and Pluto which are all in Leo. I think what my personal evolution is wanting for me now is to leave behind a lot of very knotty, intractable family karma and move towards fully embracing my ever-expanding family of spirit!

#Grabbed - sun opposite pluto. Pluto's in my 5th opposite the sun in my 11th. I wanna go and out with my mates and enjoy my teenage kids who are both back home forca month from their studies abroad. My 16 Yr old has tonsillitis and a low grade fever forcthe last 5 days.. I'm home nursing my kid backbto health.. instead of out enjoying the sun.... thanks pluto! I’m not normally a commenter - you came across as professional, understanding and a natural at the word game of metaphors! Although there was something mentioned that I would like to see change in emerging astrologers and their understanding. I’m someone with South Node, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Black Moon, Vertex, Ceres and Juno all up close and personal in a Capricorn 8th house, so I’m sure you can imagine the things astrologers have come up with about me and my path…. and the result of those misconceptions was me not receiving the help that I sort over the course of the last 20 years - with Pluto dropping bombs all over the emotional and relationship structures I spent a lifetime building. Capricorn is not about Money. And although you didn’t mention it, the 8th house is not about money either. Capricorn energy is about commitment, focus, creating strong foundations that can weather any storm and more specifically having a Purpose. The Capricorn energy is heavy and comes with a lot of sub and unconscious emotional depth (I mean we are a fishtailed goat, come on! 💁🏻‍♀️) …. emotional isolation, circumstances real or imagined forcing you to adult in the playground, having a heart that beats as loud as a drum but being unable to let it’s sweet rhythm be heard, wanting nothing more in this life than to be intimate but unconsciously becoming a provider and a pillar of strength for the people you love and care about because you need them to know how strong you are, so you can keep believing that to. Capricorn’s are the unbreakable strength and structure that others need them to be. In the cancer opposition I imagine cancer being the indigenous stories passed on by the mother, committed to the child’s memory in the depths of the unconscious, so when as those children are adults and tribal leaders and faced with impending doom the metaphors of the ancestral stories come to life and that leads them to safety and survival, cancer is the love and warmth in those stories - Capricorn is the hard, dirty, grit, work in creating those legacy’s, the difficult choices the risks, the weight of responsibility and leadership and the pure determination for no one to be left behind, the power force within pushing you not only survive but to Thrive! The focus and purpose that a modern Capricorn commits to can be Money, Building Security, Spirituality, Community Work, Drugs, Eating, Family, Health, Fitness, Knowledge, Dooms Day Prepping - literally anything. But Capricorn energy is not about Money, and it’s a stigma that ‘Modern’ Astrologers with a lack of understanding and imagination created. And I would like to see emerging astrologers move beyond stigmas like money and greed to the truth of Capricorn energy which is providing structure, commitment (to a tribe, group, community,) and the building of a purpose. Although you didn’t mention it, The 8th house - is the boiling water that only a water sign ruled by a planet of fire can create. And again, although money maybe a trigger for some, it doesn’t define what the beast who resides in the 8th represents.

I have an 8th house Scorpio Stellium and I'm also in Adams Traditional Astrology classes some of the significations of the 8th house do deal with money, taxes, inheritance etc resources and things you get from others. As well as things you can't avoid such as death. It's part of the survival access, 2nd house represents the Natives resources and that can be money while the 8th house represents resources from others. ✨🌌♏

Each time I do my inner work and face my fears and conquer them and appear more .. confident, and in control of my staff.. people around start to attack me.. subtly or saying I’m overly confident or I have to keep my ego in check.. I know their projecting also their own things or fears on me.. I mean, friends and family.. what they don’t see the inner struggle until you reach a new step, and I also like when I conquer a fear and can actually inspire others to do the same.. i have Uranus in 1, Neptune, Saturn and Ascendent all in Capri in 1 house, also NN 1 house in capricorn. I hate to explain myself, and also scare people.. life has been tough and I encourage everyone to empower and inspire others.. I do psychoanalysis and tons of inner work.. but it’s frustrating how people react … it’s painful and feels same as in childhood.. being discouraged instead of the opposite! I always encourage people.. I don’t get the same but ok. Very mistrustful also deep inside due to tons of betrayal and humiliation in childhood from my mother and family.. I’m a female, I guess I does not help.

I had little to no help in life.. and achieved great things.. working saved me and it’s my passion.. people only approach me when they see me in a successful moment.. they around for me to advice them, listen to them, help them.. I rarely find the same in return.. and I grasp when this same people forget my birthday or don’t even have a detail in an important day in my life.. I worked through resentment .. but.. it’s cristal clear to me and I still love many of this people but.. the struggle is real! Sometimes I just wanna say goodbye to everyone and start from 0 as I feel little valued as a person sometimes and much of my value comes from people seeing me being successful…

#grabbed For context I’m Aries rising, so this is on my fourth 10th axis. I’m a professional actor but my family have never seen me act. I’m in a play at the moment and I had 23 friends and family all watching me as the sun started to apply to Pluto. Everything went terribly wrong. Lines were dropped, i said my hat was my baby, I even vomited for real when I was meant to do a stage vomit. I felt completely naked and vulnerable. Exposed (great sun opposite Pluto word if I say so myself). As I’m approaching 30, the pressure for me to be successful in their eyes or even “famous” by now is growing and I know that this shame I feel of not living up to their expectations is something I have to walk through if I want a long and fruitful career. The knowledge of this does not make it any less terrifying.
