This was so very interesting episode and I need to listen to it again. I’m a Cap rising with Saturn in the 6th. My daughter a Cancer rising with Moon in the 12th. My husband’s got Sun and Moon in the 12th. My Leo rising sister’s got Sun in the 12th.

The "why" has made ALL the difference for my learning. Not understanding the why is why I dropped away from astrology. The why of the Thema Mundi and rulerships drew me back in and made me realise astrology is "the dream that keeps coming back" Faith No More. I can't wait to start year 2 😊 making my way up to master class is really a reality now. Couldn't do it without the tuition assistance and I LOVE my classmates so much. Even though 95% of my interactions are in the forum and I can rarely make live classes, despite my best intentions, 3 little kids and being in the upside-down under. Up to date, falling behind, noticing Saturn is Opposed your mercury and you've lost your voice - having a global class to share these things with is priceless.

"12th house seems to show up as people, places, and things" This is so so so true! I have a pretty packed Libra 12th house containing Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto. It took my latest nodal return for me to really become aware of astrology and its story in my life. For example, many of my unrequited loves have been Libra Sun and most were conjunct (synastry) to my Jupiter/Saturn conjunction. Those relationships showed a pattern of how I people pleased (f it he guy loved blondes I would dye my hair blonde) to force a relationship to be loved. I would also people please family members to a point I would shut down "real" me to become "fake" me for love. Additionally, one of the hardest lessons in value within the work place came when I work in a long term care retirement community that, according to astrocartography, was exact on my Jupiter/Saturn lines. I could not advance in my job, I overworked myself trying to keep the peace believing it would help me advance but none of it work. However, it did force me to look at how people pleasing took away my personal power and self value in my jobs and relationships.

You are so on point! As a child I was introduced to religion by way of my grandmother when we lived in Trinidad and Tobago. I'm an Aries Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury in the 9th house. Today, I consider myself a spiritual person and It's a huge part of my life....this quest for the soul. I'm 62 and I'm still open to learning. There's an ebb and flow to this process and I'm enjoying the ride. I now live in Ohio...far from where I came into this world.

Def nailed the feeling of the 9th! I have my moon, mercury, Venus (asc ruler), Jupiter, + MC there in Cap. I grew up steeped in Catholicism, but a Catholicism fueled by my Irish relatives (my grandpa was from there), so there was a lot of my Irish heritage tied to my experience of religion. Feels v 9th house. In my teens, I found astrology, devotional polytheism, + mythology, and I haven’t looked back. Those things are profoundly important to me to this day. I’m hoping to move abroad soon.

My son (only child) has his sun and nnode in the 6th. He’s grown now. But when he was a child he was sick almost monthly with bronchitis, croup, ear infections. With age his body has gotten stronger and doesn’t have these same problems now.

So grateful you're my teacher. 😊 so profound I have NN Pisces 9th. Totally!! I used to ride my bike to the churches in town. And just sit actually in front of them and just listen to the wind. And then I would just leave. And wow, even when I was in college. I would go to any kind of sanctuary places. I was a music major and I would go to the stage. Anything with a platform and I just would ask the questions and play the piano.

Timestamp 7:07 - Your arrows on the chart are pointing counter clockwise even though you kept saying clockwise. A bit confusing.

He was saying that the primary motion is clockwise but also explaining that despite that, the planets are moving counter clockwise, aka secondary motion. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much Adam. You’re an excellent teacher. As someone with all of her planets in the cadent houses (3H stellium squaring a 12H stellium) I found this video very helpful in understanding myself a bit more. I’ve had many astrological readings in the past and many readers struggle with interpreting my chart due to my planets residing in these houses. So while I’m still searching for a reader who can comprehend these houses, this video was a helpful start. Thank you again.

Thank you Adam, I'm in my late 70s and this is so relevant at this stage in my life. It also gives another perspective on dreams which I've been following for decades. Dream characters sometimes personified as archetypal aspects of the planets.

My 1.5yo son has his Aries sun in the 12th ( with Chiron too) so I’ve been waiting for this one. It’s given me lots to consider and to worry about lol but thankfully life with a toddler is too busy to worry all day! Thank you for this wonderful series!

I would probably be aware of his relationship with father and authority figures and see how those develop. Especially if his sun has difficult aspects with other planets. Just something to think about.

Oh Thankyou so much Adam ❤ Such aninsightful description of the cadet houses that finally makes sense to me. Saturn is my only planet not in a cadet house. And I so live in the 3rd with my Leo Sun, Moon, Mercury and Uranus there! I’ve always been at home in a ‘grass roots’ kind of way - my politics, comfort zone, animism

Growing up I always felt "threatened". I have Mars in Leo in the third opposing the moon in capricorn at the end of the 8th house. Interestingly, my way to deal with this feeling of perceived hostility was to get into a dark room all alone, escaping into my deepest inner world, which my siblings always tried to pull me out of. Also, I have the sun in Scorpio in the 6th. Again interestingly, I have wrestled with chronic and lifethreatening allergies...a hyperdefensive mechanism, if you will, that ends up killing itself, kind of like the scorpion. Anyway, thank you for this.

I appreciate these even on a basic level, it’s good timing since I’m doing some contemplating. Since I’ve mentioned it, I want to go to each sign and derive their meanings and this will create a wild multiplication of houses, I’m also pondering if they should also be derived from the thema mundi model in unison. My humorous motto is “derive, not contrive”. It just means it’s something astrologers already do, it’s just popping the hood on the mechanics. Libra is the easiest for me, I’ve also had a lot of fun. You can align a lot of archetypes with it and look at meanings in context of cultures. Lilith was fun to contrast. You see the archetype of “fate” removed, it’s not from a fate believing culture. This fate is more linked to what’s associated as libra social intelligence. You also see the association with the sign and aesthetics, aesthetics were viewed as dark witchcraft. It also clears up things like lilith is a goddess of demons, others like the Morrigan are phantom or terror queens; demon is just an earth/air spirit and it isn’t until maybe the fallen angels myth that demons become more like monsters. That can help with looking at 12 and 6 meanings. I also really like the triple god/goddess system that’s so emphasized in the Celt system, but this pattern should exist in other cultures. In astrology, it just means I’m utilizing trines a lot even if it’s an empty sign. For me, my 12th luckily has a domicile sun, but there’s also a sign conjunction with cancer that has an exalted Jupiter. This points to a more difficult moon in the 6th. Aquarius could be a good sign to deep dive and dissect first since I’ve already initiated it briefly and it’s a personal topic right now. I can do some openly, it was brought up in the forecast that Aquarius is tied to Capricorn by ruler so it’s 12th is in conjunction which reads that my 5th is my moons 12th house that adds more depth. It’s 2nd is what we know about Aquarius as it’s the reluctant water bearer for jupiter as it’s 2nd is pisces; that’s my natal 7th which is an actual aversion. Jupiter in cancer is its 6th, my 11th. Aquarius has a sign conjunction with taurus, it’s 4th, my natal 9th. Taurus directs towards pisces, this is a very true virgo stereotype. Aquarius is probably a more difficult archetype to cross match, I know Brigid is often depicted as a water bearer but that’s the conjunctions of fire with water and especially aries and pisces in that context. Libra is fun since it adds more context to stereotypes. As said, Aquarius stereotypes like loving humanity but hating people.. 😂 This was a good refresher. On this specific topic, I like to look at my zodiacal releases and notice what age I’ll be going into a spirit release of my 12th while in a fortune release of my 11th cancer all “that probably means I’ll want to retire but no one will let me”. MAYBE I will begin my deep dive process with Aquarius as soon as today.

Adam, I have MC exact conjunct Pluto at 1° Sag in 12th house. How often do you see MC in 12th? I can't find any solid information on this. I have Jupiter in 1st house at 16° Cap conj. ASC, Moon and Neptune all at 27° Cap (Saturn in Aries conj. SN, Mars conj. Mercury in Taurus- Venus conj. Sun in Gemini)

Thank you for these Adam. Quick question- when applying this information, is it better to look at the placement of planets in our natal birth chart or do we look at the whole sign Zodiac assigned to each house? I hope that question makes sense 😊
@anjijack5392 Жыл бұрын
Adam uses whole sign charts. So I'd say go with this for a more accurate explanation. But, it's an art if you'd rather do placidus.
