I remember when the Powerpuff Girls reboot was announced, and I was excited for it since I loved the original as a kid. Then the reboot happened, and I was just so disappointed, because I just found it so _boring_. No really, it's one of the most boring animated shows I've ever seen in my life, not even the worst Teen Titans Go episodes bored me this much, and this is ignoring the controversies the PPG reboot had, in which it feels like the show is trying to promote some kind of SJW agenda, but is doing so VERY poorly. Honestly, I'm not surprised the show was cancelled, it was a disaster to begin with. Now unlike most people, I have no problem with reboots, what I DO have a problem with is if the reboot is being made simply for the brand name alone as a means of making money, which is what Powerpuff Girls 2016 was from it's inception onwards.

I kind of suspected the Powerpuff Girls reboot wouldn't last too long, for the following reasons: * The original 1998 series lasted two seasons too long and suffered Seasonal Rot as a result. * The movie bombed at the box office. * The "Dance Pantsed" special wasn't well-received. * Craig McCracken wasn't involved at all with the reboot, and he has even expressed disdain for it. * The reboot made a lot of controversial changes, such as writing Ms. Bellum off, having the girls twerk with a panda, and adding a 4th Powerpuff Girl that was nothing like Bunny from "Twisted Sister". I also kind of suspect that this reboot will be PPG's Franchise Killer. Now if only Toddler Titans would end (and never come back to CN)...

I love powerpuff girls but the reboot made me think that they don’t really fight anymore. Sure there’re "fights" but it isn’t as interesting as the original. The original was better because there was more fighting and battles. Unlike the reboot it’s just normal everyday stuff. Original had: 1.fights 2.good storyline 3.great personalities for the characters 4.fun to watch with others such as friends & family 5.etc So this is just my opinion on the reboot and original.

Heh,if it were to be rebooted-they'd better least give it the adult swim/"samurai jack-season-5" treatment than what they had done to the teen titans and Ben 10 instead..because maybe it could work more on the mature/adult oriented themes as seen in the OG show,but portrayed more semi-realistically to that of something like you'd see in substantial live action movies (such as in what marvel does with most of their flicks-both MCU and X-men/deadpool-based variety,of course duh..!) and/or animated dramadies (such as Rick and Morty,bojack horseman or final space,for example) and the more conscious issues about war,the side effects of it and the stance of on the LGBTQ+ community put in a more..stark light,apparently.. The backstory of this more mature reboot could resinate in about..hmm,10-to-15 or so years after the events of the show,revolving around an older Steven,the crystal gems (including a reformed jasper,peridot and even a more wise and maturer lapis,along with the diamonds themselves being more formal allies and having them as both family and later informative insiders when it comes to other-worldly beings,to...say the least,in my opinion,eh..?) and the Denisons of beach city all going about their lives gladly after a post-homeworld or another interstellar gem war that has potentially occurred long ago..but that all gets disrupted whence another young gem-human hybrid child is left on Steven,Connie,their children and the gem's doorstop,with a warning written on a scrap of parchment from the child's GEMSTONE WARRIOR-mother pinned onto her baby blanket (whom probably had came to and later hid out on earth from a different gem-colony thought to be long past destroyed or forgotten by the diamond authority themselves-let alone having the power,will,tech,weaponry and space flight vessel nessicary to get to earth;The backstory of how the child came to be is that this gem-whom we will have little to no knowledge of,other than her cut,rank,radiance and ability per se,really-somehow got wind of something massive enough to destroy all of gem and humankind and immediately fled to the nearest gem-colony/colonies nearby so she would tell any of the diamonds or any of their courts or gem-communities living there the horrible and terrifying news,located earth instantly and then later crashed there,looking dead-eyed silently at the first female human she sees on the planet walk by immediately before dying/poofing-later reforming into a similar guise to that of the girl she saw before succumbing to her wounds minutes after,secretly posing as an actual human woman while she tries to locate the crystal gems,whom she'd heard about from her diamond-let's say she was a informant/infantry woman/officer or commander from Blue diamond's court,for instance-and meeting up with a young gentleman and unfortunately stayed with him for a while,until it turns out he was not that all nice as it seems,accidentally getting her pregnant-since she DID reform into the form of an ACTUAL HUMAN WOMAN,functional lady-bits and all!-apparently abandoning her with child,although she has no idea what pregnancy is/was..she still keeps going,finally with a basket,old baby blanket and clothing-presumably found or stolen from a thrift shop downtown-along with a scrap of paper written with gem-based co-ordinates and literal warnings about this uncertain threat in-hand,clutching to herself while in labour as she finds the gem temple,immediately calling out for help to them before screeching loudly while she reforms into a little baby girl and starts wailing,which wakes Steven,one of Steven's kids and amethyst in a startled haze-immediately calling a quick emergency meeting with the gems and his kids and starts looking and investigating what happened,leading to Steven and the gang immediately confronting this newborn,gem-human hybrid on their doorstep..)-ABOUT an immediate threat that's coming to destroy the gems/the colonies themselves,while with Steven now somehow fearfully adopting this human gem-child and raising it as his own-regarding the major consequences of what will happen if this..threat might be even bigger than the diamonds,whom decide to have their back in getting the knowledge of this occurring predicament coming upon them..So,it would be a re-hash of the original show,BUT it will centre around this new gem-human little girl training similar to Steven in his youth,while trying to advert the horrible things from the past AND keeping beach city and the Galaxy safe from this unforeseen threat..Not only it will have the charm and wit of the original,but it will take a maturer path down the "gem-human" AND "protection of all living beings"-road here,y'see..? slice-of-life..meets more dastardly and life-threatening consequences unimaginable to even the CN standards,right? Eh..?! Now chew on that idea,buddy-Eh..!
