"My brother is sitting on $150,000 and he chose this way of life" A lot of people don't understand this. My uncle is this way. A homeless alcoholic, who openly admits to enjoying the "care free" lifestyle.

Bro what the fuck do you think is going to happen when you give an addict money? It's a fucking disease they have no control over they need help it's not a fucking choice
@Incrementium
@Incrementium 11 ай бұрын
Honestly, I don't know anything about his exact mental process for the decision. But I actually think it's a good decision in many ways. If he is aware he has a problem, and thinks there is even a small chance he could waste the money on alcohol or give himself more temptation than he can resist than not having access the money is smart. He would be protecting himself from himself. The tragedy is that explanation provided pretty much fits that exact description =( I never judge people with addictions, the only thing I see is someone who needs support and help. The way I understand it is that you can't force help on to people, they need to be ready on their terms and will only ever really be able to start to recover at that point. The most you can do, is try to help them and be there for them when they are ready. (Apologies is this is somewhat ignorant from the reality of addiction, I am only indirectly familiar with personal experience in the area so this whole comment could be grossly misinformed)

freedom junkies. i'm one of them. so many "successes" in life do nothing but add stress and take away your time and freedom because it's supposedly worth it and part of our human/societal experience. but i mean i still like having a roof and freedom of food to eat so i wont go homeless but sometimes it seems like it would be so freeing. if i had a lot of money in my estate that would let me buy whatever food i want, i can see going homeless

When addiction and free money is involved things too often turn nasty. It’s never worth it, unfortunately there is usually a reason why these people are homeless. It sounds harsh but getting a huge amount of cash is not going to fix anything and often does nothing but make things crash and burn faster.

100%, without any money handling capability, a lifetime of poor mental health or bodial health, addictions, and so on. They simply don't have the mindset on money, to take 100,000$ and make any use out of it. Not saying every homeless person. About 40% of them will burn thru it in the first 6 months of handling 100k. About 40% would burn thru it,, in a year or two. Only 20% of them, would actually turn their life around permanently. Imagine what it takes suddenly rent an apartment, get a job, buy a car, registered and insured. That alone is a milestone 80% of them couldn't keep for over 2 years, realistically. Unless someone held their hand.

Its so odd that there's a pattern with Rahat and Josh Paler Lin, They both did a video about a homeless person, setup a fundraiser for them, and they both ended up in huge controversy and false accusations. The dark truth is that some homeless people are chronically homeless, you could give them everything and they would still end up in the streets

Yeah it's crazy how a grown man with a camera and an audience, with a 15 year old mentality, can't magically fix a man who sleeps outside and had lost everything with 100k, with no mental health help. He drank himself to 💀, after they reunited him with his prison friend, and that didn't make him a better more responsible functioning member of society? That's crazy! Where did they go wrong. That's right, they didn't, the YTer got a money bag, the camera man got a money bag, the lawyer got a money bag, YT and Susan got a money bag and the homeless guy is now 💀. Man, that YTer got the short end of the stick here😢

@@jtjensen There are videos about it. I can't recall all the details so my summary may be inaccurate. Basically, KZbinr MoR offered to open a bank for a homeless man based on donations from his audience. The donations were a lot. The homeless man allegedly spent it all and has been demanding MoR for more because he thinks the money he spent isn't enough (he spent it on alcohol and limousine rides). This has caused a drift between MoR's crew as there are some who side with the homeless man, allegedly for the money.

That's why his name sounds familar. I remembered the Bali prank that he did a few months ago and it was a big deal considering Indonesia was one of the red zones with the pandemic and now recently, the Delta variant eventually entered the country. This story really left me in a weird thought because on one hand, I really do believe he has good intention and on the other, he's on the same line of pranksters that would take this sort of pranks to an extreme level. I feel like at least Rahat is not only an OG, but it's obvious that he's not doing it for the content, but for the reactions. If that makes sense. This is another absolute banger video. Awesome work. See people are fully against homeless people drinking but the thing is getting your life together costs a lot of money so while your on the streets suffering and being depressed, I understand why a homeless person would want to drink at times, to relax and not stress for a bit. The problem is , is when they go overboard with it but they are adults and sometimes adults make the wrong choices. Also I haven’t watched this video yet, I’m just talking based on how people say don’t give a homeless person money because they will buy alcohol with it. But to me alcohol is probably the only thing that could take away their stress for a tiny bit.
@EZHNO
@EZHNO 11 ай бұрын
Its not stress relieving though, at best you get to forget about things in the moment but by the end of the drink its all still there, and you now have less time, money and control over yourself, which inherently induces more stress. On top of that it creates bodily stress, which induces more mental stress, which then induces more bodily stress, and it just cycles on and on.

He wasn't necessarily going to drink himself to death. The accounts indicate at the time the KZbinrs targeted him for their exploitative scheme, he wasn't drinking. The money messed with him and made his life worse and he started drinking again. Maybe he realized the KZbinrs didn't really care about him but were just using him for their exploitation, that would make anyone depressed. The KZbinrs were interfering in his life and disrupting things bringing up old painful issues making his mental health worse, causing him to start drinking again. The KZbinrs never should've been exploiting him in the first place like they did. They're responsible for his untimely death.

He should donate all that money to programs that directly help the homeless in the area where he first filmed at. As a former homeless person, there are a lot of people who are more homeless due to disability and domestic violence than you'd think. They aren't all due to drugs and alcohol. When I was homeless I had to stay in a Salvation Army shelter because the womens DV shelter was full. They treated me and my kids so bad there. I always wondered why people chose to sit out in the street even in the rain when there was a shelter there and now I know why. They sit and scream at you for just existing and needing their services. Most of them where older people who probably needed to be in a nursing home instead and I'm not sure why they weren't. One lady was in a wheelchair and yet didn't get disability. One girl was in college and had aged out of foster care. There was a grandmother taking care of her two granddaughters. I only met one alcoholic who gave my son the shoes off her feet because she noticed his was falling apart and there were no drug addicts because they actually get better accomodations at sober living houses. I was told "its unfortunate you don't do drugs because if you did we could help you get a car and a house rent free". I'd lost my car and house in my divorce from my abusive ex husband. He got another woman pregnant and I filed for divorce and the judge gave him my car and both of his and forced me out of my house so they could sell it and then I used my half of the money to get an apartment and another car and he stole my car and I got kicked out of my apartment because they had a zero tolerance policy for anything involving police and my neighbor had called them because he and other people he got to help him, came into my home and attacked and robbed me resulting in me having my tailbone broken. So not only did I have my home and car taken twice, I was physically attacked multiple times and I lost multiple jobs because of the abuse. Eventually I got a gun because a cop told me they couldn't protect me and he would end up killing me and maybe my kids too. And then we lived homeless off and on for 5 years while I striggled to rebuild my life. I'd wasted 10 years working to get the life I had before. And I couldn't lie and say I did drugs to get easy help because then my ex would have been able to take my kids. I actually paid $25 to let strangers watch me pee in a cup multiple times because he claimed I was stealing my son's ADHD medication but he has never been on anything for it. I and both of my sons have Autism and ADHD and if I wanted medication I could get my own. I take them to an autistic play therapist every other Friday and do behavior therapy without medication. Anyway, my point was that not all homeless people are there due to their own actions. A lot of us were there because we'd been victims of evil people. And a lot of homeless people just need a little help to get back on their feet like I did

Hi Jaylaw, can you cover as well on josh dating relationship? I am very curious how he and laurene ramos ended up breaking up. Then I saw his prank videos with kelly kay. Kelly kay seem to have an interesting background like the stadium controversy. Also, how she ended with OnlyFans. Afterward Josh dating with spanish girl? This is quite a story and I believe you can tell us something about it. Thx :)

I remember I was a kid watching these videos this was soo funny and now didnt know there were like these staged and someone died yet its kinda dark now but hopefully other's wont end up like this situation if u give a homeless man money u should just give them food than money look what they just do or u dont know if they are drunkard or drug addict or spend the money for more bad habits better food than money money is the root of all evil and u should teach them to put the money to better thats all

The KZbinr wouldn't do anything serious or honest like not bothering him, but just exploited a man struggling with mental health issues to no limits until they killed him. It's disgusting those exploiters and Alphabet makes money on this psychopathy

@tw8464 I hate this generation of "KZbin Charity". Donating to a struggling person to get more views on a channel degrades those who receive the donation further than had they just received the charity. Its hard for anyone to admit they have fallen on hard times, which leaves a person vulnerable to explotation like this. It's wrong on so many levels. I hate seeing it on shorts of a person giving money to a homeless person or saying they do that, they just want a pat on the back its a hollow form of charity and the money they earn from the views goes back into their pockets so it's a hollow/ heartless form of charity if you can call it that.

@mahmoud1002 there's a reason most religions are against making a show of "helping" people that is not at all pure in heart and as such false "help" with inevitably cause serious harm to the person. People are not to be used as material or exploited or degraded but with the disgusting perverse incentives of "screen economy" and people raised on screens don't even see the harm and degradation they're doing and the "trickle down" "screen economy" corporations are doing. It's a dangerous and inhumane false "reality"

So what's the difference? I was waiting for the shoe to drop that he wasn't homeless, and yet he actually was. I know it's hard to believe but homelessness 90% of the time is a choice made by someone who's mind is on the zonkers. Josh may have been setting this all up but Josh's interest in this man sparked a ray of hope in his life, don't you know? It's not about money in this world, it's about love. Love, is the only real ingredient that's missing in all of our lives. Genuine or not, even the illusion of love can make a difference in someone's life, that's the real part.

the material is based on "youtube history" and "mainstream media". as you decide to daringly reach the youtuber's cameraman, whose e-mail address you've provided in the video, you might as well teach history based on wikipedia.

People consistently comment on how heartless individuals are these days. How no one shows empathy, concern, or compassion for others in this day and age. But watching this whole scenario unfold sort gives an understanding as to why people are so heartless now. I mean look what helping others get you in return. Nothing but a god damn headache. People calling you a thief and a manipulator ect. Spreading false rumors and BS scenarios because their haters and just want to spread toxicity. No matter how you look at it this dude helped a homeless person raise 100,000 dollars and tried to help get him on his feet. Was it for content purposes??? I mean sure but who gives a 🤬. Both people came out the other end better off than before. The only difference is that the homeless guy chose the wrong path and faced the consequences because of it. It’s insane to put the blame of the homeless man’s downfall on a single human being showing some kindness. Wether it was surface level, self serving, or true genuine kindness we may never know. However it is not Josh’s fault that a life was lost from alcoholism no matter how his family/other individuals want to try and twist the events to suit the narrative they are trying to spin. The truth is this man was sick and needed help because without it he was going to die eventually. Regardless of wether he was chosen that day to be in joshes video or not alcoholism would have took him eventually. And that’s a fact. It’s a shame that people don’t look at things with a rational perspective anymore but are more so quick to jump on the bandwagon of popular opinion. We have come into this age of not taking accountability for our shortcomings but moreover finding the closet person, place, or thing to blame it on. Because of this people have become desensitized to any person suffering and will turn the other Cheek and keep it moving. We are in the age of “ not my problem “.
