Beautiful! I shoukd have known you'd have this song up for ukulele!!just teaching myself fingerstyle. Considering getting a baritone now, too. Are you still helping the Lindley's with costs? I'm so sorry for the loss of Mr. Dave. He is so beloved, and i know he was a good friend of yours. My seeoest sympathies.

Hello Douglas Reynolds, love this song so so much and had to give you a big hug and a great thanks for this beautiful arrangement. This Tyde Uke is sounding beautiful too!!!! Is this a Tenor or a Baritone one and how did you tuned it - sounds very deep and warm! Many thanks for sharing, Take care and be blessed from Germany, Bettina

4Motion54 Thanks for the kind words. The uke is a long-scale tenor (18” instead of normal 17”) and I tuned it down a half step to match the original recording.

Nicely done. And I love your ukulele. Is it custom made instrument?

Yes, Tyde Music made that for me. The soundboard is made out of wood from an old Lake Tahoe boat dock. (That’s why it has the long slatted headstock design.) They build amazing creations from repurposed wood.
