The pretender is so amazing that my family has them all on DVD. I've never heard of anyone else who has seen this show too. Honestly such a good show! Favorite quote: I DECIDE WHO LIVES AND DIES! Glad you're watching it!

I love that show! The one where the guy with special powers travels from town to town, helping folks solve problems, while staying one step ahead of the people who want to capture him or reveal his secret? It premiered in 1978 and was called THE INCREDIBLE HULK!😁

It's been forever since I've watched The Pretender! I remember loving the show. The story... goes kind of wild. One recurring aspect I remember noticing when watching the show is that Jarod (the protagonist) has a habit of staring intensely at the "bad guy of the week" for an extended shot that would be really conspicuous if anyone noticed him doing this. Usually it happens around when the audience learns who the bad guy is and/or why they are bad. It's been over a decade since I've watched any of the show, however, so my memory might be shakey on that.
