In this episode from 2004, Marie, who has just made the epic purchase of a new house, is keen to populate it with a vehicle. Larry feels obliged to give her the opportunity through the game "Cover Up", and my word, Marie certainly earns her prize the hard way!

Larry actually appeared on an episode of the American version hosted by Drew Carey. He even hosted one of the pricing games, in this case, Cliffhangers. He did a pretty good job.

If Marie wins the 1/2 a Million Dollar Showcase, I will label her as the biggest winning person ever in the history of the Price is Right. That is after she netted herself a Brand-new Citroen C3 Cabriolet.

That's the trouble most of the prizes on The Channel 7 version of The Price Is Right were from Big W because of sponsoring or maybe boosting there ad campaign like you said and some i must say were ridiculously priced and on that to the showcase round was not overally huge to the one on channel 9 There were indeed a mass amount of changes made as you pointed out like they didn't have the estimated guess or highest bid of the price without that on 7 that's what indeed made it abit tasteless

To be honest i actually quite enjoyed the old episodes of The Price Is Right when it was on Channel 9 wasn't really into the newer ep's on channel 7

I know the ones on channel 9 kept you glued to the set and Shaun was better at the 'cine in downs' then Brodie in the 2012 ones on 7 and more expensive prizes unlike the biggest ad campaign for big w if there weren't so many prizes from there and more expensive ones channel 7 would still have it on and one other thing that flawed was the fact they didn't had contestant row with the 4 people bidding on same prize getting closest to the price without going over then plays for a bigger prize
