...Ah, I totally forgot about that. And yeah, I forgot about Golden Road. And the first game to *not* be compatible with 4-digit prices? Cover Up, in 1992. Its set is such that removing an entire column wasn't possible without altering the entire prop.

I liked Burton and Rod. Rich was OK when he first started, but now his voice is somewhat grating. I just wonder why they didn't pick Randy West or even Art Sanders. They were great. I also wonder what would've happened if they had picked Daniel Rosen. He either would've gotten better or worse. I choose the latter.

Seemed to me Bob Hilton had the most energy in the open, but sort of lacked it after that. Like his announcing of a new station wagon left a little to be desired I thought. Just my view though take it as you will.

It's fine, Travis. I won't shun you over a difference in opinion. As for Rich Fields....yeah, he's gotten grating, especially with the "John Jacobs Comeondown!" thing -- give some space to let the name soak in with the audience, THEN say "Come on down!". Randy West apparently sounded too close to Johnny Olson (someone said that he did a dead-on impersonation of him), while Daniel Rosen..... Trust me, Daniel Rosen was only in it for the money. He wouldn't have gotten better.

I do thank you for uploading this video, but I do have to say one thing that will probably make some people, such as yourself, a little mad. It's just my opinion, but I really don't think that Bob Hilton was all that great at announcing. For some reason, his voice irritates me a little. It's not that clear. Plus, one other thing that I dislike is his lack of interaction with Bob. Reminds me of Don Bishop in a way. But, I'd rather hear him than Daniel Rosen. Again, just my opinion.
