For each of those 2 Showcases, I would have guessed the following. 1st Showcase: $16,250 2nd Showcase: $40,000

This is incredible, not least of all for the ads. I wouldn't mind going to Cajam Fest '85 if I were able. Furniture in those Tom Kennedy showcases was oftentimes through the roof, almost impossible to overbid on!

This would have been taped in the spring of 1985 (most likely April). That spring was when they changed the seats in the studio audience from blue to red; the CBS drapes were changed as well.

Air date is September 30, 1985, with mention of the Saints in San Francisco @ 12:10. That game was the day before, and the Saints won.

Whenever I show clips of Tom Kennedy's Price Is Right, my friends say "Uh Jessy, isn't the host supposed to be Bob Barker?"

316N, I thought they taped 170 Episodes for one season, "Was there preemptions or repeats around Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's?" (Tic Tac Dough) and (The Joker's Wild) usually had 195 per season.

Johnny Olsen did most of the announcing in this episode, esp. the fee plugs.

If the prize package in the second game is the price Tom said it was, the wine opener was worth $270.

Never seen this episode, the first one was “Any Number”, but sadly, she won $8.01, so instead of winning the car, she will go to McDonald’s and spend $8.01 including a Big Mac, fries and a drink.
