@@gen_z_hippichikk I sorta/kinda agree with you on the 'money' thing, miss. Sadly, the reality is that rich parents will still buy their children's College Degrees, rich companies will still force Mom & Pop Shops to close, etc. No one ever said life was fair, and this is a Capitalist country. Good thing, too, as the abject failure of other political systems is well documented throughout history. I don't agree about Trump, however, since Life Long Politicians have exploited their positions in Government to the point where we absolutely need to start electing outsiders to fix the damage they've done. To 'Drain the Swamp,' as it were. At this point, the ONLY 'politician' I both like and trust is Tulsi Gabbard. The rest, by and large, are just varying degrees of awful. I PRAY Tulsi will run for President again one day (she came to my attention during her first Presidential run, when she completely SCORCHED Kamala Harris), and I will be OVERJOYED to cast my vote for her. My faith in what I believe to be a badly corrupted 'system' would be restored were that to occur. In the meantime, while Trump isn't perfect (he sure is funny, says what he thinks and I respect that greatly, but he's a tad bit egotistical in my view. A wee bit. A smidgen. LOL), we need him right now to begin the process. Furthermore, we need to start electing more 'political outsiders,' as fast as we can. This country needs rescuing from anyone calling themselves a 'politician.' Tulsi Gabbard is a single shining star in a sea of darkness at the moment. It shouldn't have gotten this bad. The American Dream has been lost and our Government is busy dumbing down the schools and making more and more efforts to mold its citizens into easily controlled sheep who believe everything the magic talking picture box in their living rooms tells them, and they're clearly frustrated and angered by any efforts to thwart this process. Watching the Government, Mass Media and Big Tech unite in efforts to smear Trump during his last Presidency should be proof enough of that for anyone. It's past time to start reversing this mess!

@@CairnsLobster It's insane that we ever got away from Meritocracy! How much in profits have companies lost by being forced to hire people unqualified for their jobs due to DEI laws, I wonder? Fortunately, big companies like Boeing (and many others, but they're the latest I've heard of) have been dropping their DEI divisions, for one simple reason; IT'S COSTING THEM MONEY! Luckily for America, greed will ultimately be the deciding factor when it comes to DEI programs in the marketplace. The Government will still be forced to hire based on DEI regulations, unless the incoming administration can change that. Let's hope they can!

What a great interview. I'll say this about women in combat. As long as they don't lower the standards. For example, when I was in Marine reconnaissance I had to run 5-miles wearing a 50-pound pack in training. If a woman can do it, fine. But if they set the training so that the woman has a 35-pound pack, and the man has a 50-pound pack - or they lower the standard so that everyone has a 35-pound pack so that women can pass it - then I have a big problem.

They should have redeveloped armor, weapons, and technologies a long time ago anyways. "Heavier" doesn't always mean more effective ammunition, armor, or food. Adaptability, density, and explosive potential can be way superior to modernized things as you've described.

I would just add that as a 5’10 female, and lots of studies show height is a major factor in strength, if your measure is carrying/lifting heavy stuff, I would likely do far better than a 5’5 male. There have also been a few examples recently online of women police officers and bystanders of car fires where it was the woman that put themself in harms way, and rescued a person trapped in the car. It could be a higher tolerance for pain or a higher desire to save someone, despite the risk to themself. I realize that is not always the case, and there are examples of female police failing miserably. I wonder how Tulsi’s male counterparts feel about how well she supported them. I have a feeling I would have been very happy to have her there. And yes, she does look like Wonder Woman! There was a time Republicans wouldn’t even consider having a President run if he didn’t have military/combat experience. Now they have lost sight of how valuable that is. You don’t send people into war if you haven’t experienced it yourself.
@Kauai-OO-80s13 сағат бұрын
@Gracelesshearts Height doesn't equal strength. World-class strong men are always bulky more than tall/BMI. Strength does not equate to height nor speed, or endurance.
@Gracelesshearts13 сағат бұрын
@ I could be wrong. I was pretty sure I saw something about long muscles (arm and leg length) being stronger than short muscles at some point, but would guess weight/height being equal, men would be stronger. I’ve also done jui Jitsu with short men who were much stronger than me and just had massive upper body strength, but there are some skinny guys too that don’t have that. I can carry a lot though! I think generally there should just be a high bar set, same for all.

The problem of women in combat units is not that all women can not do the job, it is the mental reaction of the men in the unit to a women in danger or a women scattered in pieces across the landscape. Look at mixed Israeli combat units, in '73. You had units that took female casualties, after which the unit became overly aggressive taking lossses that should not have happened normally.

I do appreciate the possibility being brought up regarding the extent of what can and would likely happen to a female soldier if captured. The problem is, this same type of torture and abuse can and would also happen to a man. Just my thoughts.. War is ugly and gives no quarter to male or female. Tulsi is right, we need our best. I don't care if they happen to be male or female. So very happy and proud to have Tulsi Gabbard as one of our leaders. I truly believe she has a fantastic future ahead of her, and we all will benefit from it.

A man CANNOT bear the torture's child! Your initial claim is WRONG in every respect.

ALL THESE SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP, FOR THERE IS A POSSIBILITY, IT MAY OCCUR. = IT'S WITHIN REALITY! =

@@SusanPearce_H I hear you and do understand what you're saying. A man can also be r.aped. Is it different than a woman? Absolutely.

As a dude. I see our SEALs, Marsoc, Ranger, Delta, Green Berets, Raven, Tac-p etc.. as literal living Jedi Knights. The men who do the impossible with a grim determination and hard as steel. I know their standards and requirements are insane because of the mission their fulfill. I know also that we can find a lady to carry the machine gun, do the push-ups, and make the run times etc. We can find girls who have the aggression or have the potential to cultivate that level of aggression within themselves to get the job done. But I'm still stuck, at the crossroad. The battlefield is not a place for anyone.. especially women. They're far too prescious.

I agree. In the world I grew up in a man protects women and children. In fact all of us boys understood at a very early age that a man does not hit a woman or do any violence towards them. I'm therefore extremely opposed to women serving in the forward areas.

DNI Gabbard! I can think of no better to fill this position. I see a fantastic future as well. We need more people in government on the level of Tulsi. My wish for her is to one day occupy the highest position in the land. I know my vote will be there that day should it come.

Pete Hegseth made a point about transgenderism in the military that I hadn’t even considered- as a 28 year old man that was discharged due to Crohns and UC- about nondeployable status: Transgender surgeries carried out by the military are inherently stupid. A military exists to kill their enemy and protect their people. If you become “nondeployable” then you become useless to the military. It’s exactly why I was honorably discharged, just bad luck for me. And it is for the exact same reason that Asthma acts as a disqualifyer: If you need your meds in a combat zone then you are a casualty in waiting. *does the Trump dance*

I voted for Trump and his very formidable inner circle. I wouldn't be surprised if Tulsi draws upon this considerable talent pool, and becomes the front runner in '28 for Commander in Chief.

Mixed units often don't work well. When I was in the army, I asked some of the lasses what they think would happen on a base in Iraq or wherever, that had hundreds of women and only 2 men. One blurted out, "They'd get r*pd"... the others agreed, all laughing as it was a joke... but it was such an instantaneous response it definitely came from a truth... the presence of the men would cause issues. I asked them because there had been a camp with 2 women on it, and it caused issues, undermining the integrity of the unit, and the men were called worse than sh*t for saying it. I was called all sorts for pointing it out ❤ from Northeast England ❤️

R*pe has always been a threat for women who work alongside soldiers as medics, nurses, etc. Mindbreaking torture has always been a threat to soldiers. JP's last question was about nothing new.
